we were here several years ago was acceptable enough then. the apartments are large enough but the furnishings are worn out and uncomfortable. we had two different issues regarding maintenance, on arrival there was no hot water in kitchen which took them 5 days to resolve. at the end of week 1 one of the cooking rings stopped working and despite reporting this, with still another week of our holiday left nothing was done. there were no cleaners until 7 days into stay which also meant no rubbish collections for a week no clean bedding and towels or toilet tissue replacements. the bar had none of the advertised entertainment and closed each day at 2pm each afternoon. some of the staff were quite surly and rude, this was despite me conversing with them in spanish as i am able to do. i will not stay there again and this is a shame because if run and maintained to a higher standard it would be like it used to be Collapse

Stayed for a week in March, Tidy and spacious apartment, kitchen better equipped than i've seen in a lot of places, 4 hot plates, toaster, micro-wave, fridge -freezer, kitchen cupboards had various sized plates, glasses and pans, even 2 size frying pans. Nice bedroom with comfy single beds and wardrobe with dozen or so hangers and extra blankets, Bed settee in living room, dining table, chairs and tv with lots of english channels, didn't need to pay 10 euros for use of remote control as i took it off wall and found switches with instructions for use on the back. Down side is in my title, under the sink you'll find a roll of bin bags, 'cos it's you who will be taking the rubbish out, it's nice radiators come on morning and evening as this is when you get to dry your towels after having a shower, they are only ones you'll be getting, you also only get one toilet roll so make it last. Enjoyed our stay and would return even though young fella on reception on our arrival at mid-day was the most undeserved of employment i have ever met. Where as fella with beard and glasses who returned our 100 euro deposit at 06:40 as we left couldn't have been nicer. Collapse

Got here at around 8pm on a Monday night and there were no staff to be seen. Waited for around ten minutes for any form of receptionist to show up and they were quick t give us our key but did not show any sign of apologising, only one lift was working so we had to wait for a bit until it arrived on the floor. We stayed on the third floor and the light didn't seem to be working so we had to navigate our way to the room in the dark and eventually found it. We then opened the door and it was very basic. There was a small kitchen area on the right and a living room/sofa bed on the right, directly in front was a bathroom and then on the left there was a bedroom, the wardrobe door seemed to be broke in the bedroom and there were holes in the lamp and the vents. There wasn't sufficient bedding for the sofa bed and there were old ratty blankets in the wardrobe so I wasn't going to use them, we had to go down to reception to get more sheets as they didn't give us duvets or thicker blankets. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and creaked at every movement (I'm not overweight) the balcony area looked over the hospital and the windows weren't double glazed. From here the walk to the centre was around 20 minutes and to the old town around 40. This trip was 3 miles there and 3 miles back so if you enjoy walking it's good. The pool was nice but the jacuzzi had mould growing in it and some form of scum forming on the top of the water. It wasn't the best apartment I have stayed in. Collapse

We have stayed at these apartments probably over 30 times in the past 10 years, they are great apartments , they have a 24 hour reception so there is always so eone there to assist you , you will need a deposit usually anything up to a 100 euros , pay in sterling as you dont end up with loads of euros after your holiday, and there isnt any problem getting it back, as long as you havent trashed the place, these apartments are basic but everything you need, and clean. Spacious and a massive balcony, we have always found the staff very helpful and pleasant , a special mention to Jose, as he has always been really helpful and kind to us over the years , nothing is to much trouble for him, but he is like this with many guests, a credit to the hotel, there is a bar downstairs that does good bar food at reasonable prices, there is a garden area for sunbathing and although the hotels at the back cast a shadow over the pool in the afternoons if you are on ho,I day in the summer months , the shadow is like a welcome break from the sun , but it soon reappears, gives you chance to stock up on drinks and something to eat if you do like to lie in the sun all day. There is also an indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Just up the road there are a few really good bars with entertainment nightly, you have The Showboat which used to be owned by Levi, and The Tropical Bar, the new Sinatras Premium Bar, The Rock and Roll House , places to eat Yorkshire Pride , The Corner Bar and others, Benidorm Palace just up the road and also the new British Iceland which is really handy, and you also have various other shops and supermarket just over the road. There is a bus stop also and a taxi rank, and if your walking down to the beach it's about a 15 min stroll downwards , may take you a little longer if you end up looking in all the shops or calling at the pubs, but you can get a bus back up for 1.50 euro each, you are not far away from the center , but far enough to be out of it if you want to be away from the noise, can't wait to be back there in June, Collapse
