Just got back from week in these apartments. Good size but no cooker just hob and microwave. Basic clean but no towel or bedding change unless staying get more than ten nights. You have to take your own rubbish outside and up the street to bins so really no maid service at all. Deposit £100 per room better to pay in English rather than get left with lots of euros on last day. Bar closes at 11pm and no access to play pool or for kids to use area . Guy with bald head on reception really rude and unhelpful and rather aggressive especially with teenagers. Not helpful at all and left you standing there at reception whilst he chatted up the maids. Recommend supermacado up the road and food at Ali Babas was great. Watch your luggage on transfer bus from airport.driver didn't get off at any of the drop offs and just opened doors for passengers to help themselves, this resulted in our puschair and large suitcase been stolen from coach resort transfer not much help. Apparently it happens a lot and it's local Romanians who wait outside for coaches to arrive and mingle with passengers and grab what is nearest. Keep an eye on your luggage make sure it's put well into the coach hold and not at front. Collapse

We travelled as a family of 3 to the Buenavista apartment. We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago. I will say that not a lot has changed in that 10 years, but overall our experience was positive. Location: We are very frequent visitors of Benidorm and therefore are quite comfortable finding our way around. Hotel was a 10-15 minute walk at most to the strip and to the beach. Surrounding the hotel was a number of good quality bars and restaurants if you didn't want to venture in and just across the road from 2 big supermarkets. The hotel itself and arrival: We were charged a £100 deposit. This was offered back with no hesitation before inspection of the room (As we left at 7:30 in the morning). Safe was 16 euros to hire for the entire stay, and I think there was 8 euros returned to you when we brought the key back so actually very good value for money. There was a convenient 'minimart' in the hotel selling water, mugs etc. Quite reasonably priced. Staff: Staff were, in general, very helpful. I have seen some reviews stating there is a 9 year old child working behind the bar who they allow to serve beer. The child is clearly belonging to one of the barmaids and is not there everyday. Even when she is, she's helpful anyway, so don't get what the issue is with this. The only time staff were abrupt (And rightfully so,) was when people entered the bar area wet or consumed goods they'd bought off the premises within the bar. Everyone encountered on reception was polite and when we complained our kettle was broken there was a new one in the room within the hour. Food at the hotel bar itself was tasty and very reasonable. Pool: Was cleaned every day. Sunloungers were non-adjustable which was a bit of a pain but we just bought cheap lilos and lay on them for comfort. Indoor pool and jacuzzi in need of a little TLC as slightly grubby but overall okay. Sun hits the pool at 10 am. Requires a bit of movement of sunbeds to stay in the sun all day but there is sun on some part of the pool area at all times. PLEASE if you are taking young children or like to dip in the pool yourself be very careful on the tiled areas around the pool. We saw a fair few people fall victim to the slippery tiles - these may need to be rethought. Cleanliness: As clearly stated on most sites towels are changed once a week. 1 toilet roll is provided per week. Towels and bedding were promptly changed on the first day of our second week and apartment was left clean and tidy. This is not new to Benidorm and is common practice in many hotels. Apartments were basic but kitchenette was fully equipped with a good range of utensils and good sized fridge/freezer which were spotless. Air conditioning was functional and worked well, if a little noisy. Overall, as with other reviews, you get what you pay for with this hotel. Some of the rooms and fixtures need a little TLC (Few holes in curtains, bedspreads etc) but for the most part the hotel was basic but clean. We would return again. Collapse

Just got back from a 10 night stay in the buena Vista in Benidorm and it wasn't the best. First thing you come to when you arrive is a notice board about the food and drink and entertainment, but there is no entertainment. Nothing to make you want to stay there at night. We got to our room and it was clean and spacious which i was happy about, but if you think your going to get clean towel and fresh bedding after a couple of days think again, we had one change of bedding and towels in 10 nights. On closer inspection the bedding we had on was old and filthy. I have enclosed pictures of it. The pool area is nice and calm, our kids basicly had the small pool to themselves most days. They serve food from morning till night which most of the time is lovely, apart from the day we found raw chicken mixed up in a tuna jacket potato, which my daughter had to spit out. Behind the bar they had a girl who looked about 8 years old taking orders and serving you beer. Collapse
Clean, Tidy and a great base.

We've just had a fantastic 12 night family holiday at the Buenavista in Benidorm. These apartments are great value for money with a tidy pool area and well stocked mini shop and bar which also sells great food. We didn't have aircon for the first week because we didn't realise we had it as you need both patio doors closing tightly so the contacts on the top of the doors connect, I've put a photo of the way the controller should be set with the dial all the way to the right, look around for the controller sometimes there behind the patio curtains . After that it was great of a night in the room but before was unbearable with the 30 plus degree heat. All in all these apartments are great value for money and I would definitely come back here. After reading all the reviews on here I was very surprised the apartment was lovely plenty of room for 4 of us you do have to take your rubbish to the bins outside but that wasn't a problem everywhere was clean and tidy only down fall is there was no entertainment but that wasn't a problem either as right on the door step was tropical bar , sinartras and rock and roll bar we didn't go in rock and roll as we were about to go in me my hubby and 2 15 year olds they wanted I'd fit them to see there ages never in my life on holiday has this ever happened so didn't bother going again after that , we had a fantastic time at the apartments no hens or stags and no noise at night only from traffic and bin men there is air con in the apartments but you have to have doors closed and make sure the contacts on doors are touching properly or it won't work they don't tell you this at reception they just take your £100 deposit and give you the keys had no probs getting deposit back at the end of our stay food and drinks cheap so I give 9:10 as no entertainment Collapse
