We were guests at a wedding at the weekend, & the reception was held here. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't do enough for us. Check-in was quick, & the lady on the desk was extremely friendly & helpful. The room we were given was a little dated but very clean & had everything we required. The chamber maids were also very friendly, even though they were busy they made time to say hello. There was only one bar man serving at the bar off the courtyard making getting a drink hard, but I suppose 100 people all arriving at the same time didn't help. The marquee looked beautiful & the staff opened the sides up as it was getting very warm inside There was no trouble getting a drink inside the marquee The meal we were served was very nice, & we were even asked if we wanted more. The serving staff were also very friendly. We had a walk along the canal to The Dog & Dublet, between the formalities & the nights entertainment. Just for a change of scenery The rest of the evening was fabulous The band & DJ were both fantastic There was plenty of choice at breakfast & the atmosphere was really relaxed (which was a good thing as there were a few sore heads around) We hung around in the courtyard after breakfast for an hour, chatting & drinking tea Everyone we spoke to had a great time & there were plenty of comments about how good all the staff were Thank you for making the day so special. Your staff really are your best asset (but the surroundings very nice too) Collapse

My brother and his wife had their wedding reception here on Saturday 15th July and I have to say how fantastic the staff at the hotel were. From the moment we arrived until the time we left at lunch time the following day we cannot fault anything about the hotel or the staff. The wedding meal was beautiful, served efficiently and very hot (I have been to so many weddings where the food has been served luke warm and the top table have finished before some of the guests have been served). The staff worked tirelessly all day. Finola (excuse me if your name is spelt incorrectly) did a great job from the time of the booking until the wedding was over and gave Vanessa and Dave great confidence that their special day was in safe hands. The marquee looked amazing when we arrived. I will post photos later. I would definitely recommend Marston Farm Hotel for a wedding venue. Well done and thank you to all the staff for making the day extra special. PS. We stayed overnight and the rooms had all the facilities we needed, tea making, iron, ironing board, trouser press to name but a few and breakfast was lovely too. Collapse

Stayed one night with husband and Ollie dog as husband had work in Birmingham. Only 12 miles outside but hey you could be in the middle of the country as it's stunning. Pretty hotel lovely grounds, amazing staff. Checked into room 35 that was fab for us and the dog as good size, bright with a French door we can open for Ollie to sit outside. Immaculate room, yes may soon need a bit of an update but don't we all as we get a little older. The bedding was lovely and fresh, the decor matching and plenty of good towels, tea and coffee all you could want. Booked a late check out which was £30 extra but a great idea as Ollie and I are sitting outside the room enjoying the lovely gardens and countryside. Fab easy walks for the dog along exceptional scenery. Good breakfast plenty of choice. Lovely tendered gardens, beautiful baskets would be great for weddings as has a lovely marquee. Collapse

After having such an awful start when we booked the wedding in 2015 Brook Marston Farm did not disappoint on our big day! We had our reception here on the 1st July 2017, Manager Finola and team could not have done enough for us. We were greeted with champagne and all our guests were looked after before we arrived. We had drinks in the courtyard before heading into the beautifully decorated marquee. Everything was as I requested even down to the small decoration details I gave the day before. All the food was beautiful and very tasty, everything came out in great sequence from start to finish. The only thing my guests mentioned was the bar staff were not that knowable when ordering certain drinks. They also cleared the tables very fast for our evening turn around and disguarded full drinks that guests had not finished with. Rooms were very clean and tidy, bridal suite was lovely and comfortable. Overall we were really happy with how our day turned out and cannot thank Finola and her team enough. Finola was a new manager that walked into what I can describe as a minefield but she really turned this around for the better. Many thanks :) Charlotte & Keith Collapse

We stayed last weekend and it was "fine" in general. We stayed in room 9 in the older part of the hotel and although dated the room and bathroom were clean and tidy, although the hook came off the door when we hung a towel on it and the shower pressure was at "dribble" standard, and then refused to turn off. Like the previous reviewer, we had a Dinner B&B voucher so had an evening meal on the first night. The menu was not terribly exciting, but the Thai fish cakes were quite tasty. My "medium" cooked Duck was overcooked and a bit tough but edible. We were warned when booking they had a wedding on the Saturday, but I had not expected it to be quite as loud as it was, the wedding venue is a marquee and even with the windows shut the music was loud enough to sing along to. Thankfully it shut off at Midnight. Staff were friendly enough and as stated earlier although tired the room was clean and tidy. There is easy access to the Tow path of the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal and a lovely walk both up and down to see the moored boats and people navigating the locks. Plus it's a short walk up to the "Dog and Doublet" pub (see separate review) Collapse
