The location of the hotel is in the middle of everything. Please notice that the hotel is classified as "4 star", so we had expected a slightly higher standard. We had booked the quadruple room for 5 nights. There was only two mugs and no Nescafe. Next morning we asks the reception for more Nescafe, and there was two put portions of Nescafe in the room when we returned in the afternoon. The rest of the stay the Nescafe was not supplemented. I know this is a detail, but we paid more than EUR 1.500 for our stay, so why not supply the room with some Nescafe? Also the mugs are not replaced or cleaned. The lipstick marks stayed day after day. Beware that the breakfast room only have seating for about 20 persons, so there is often a queue waiting to be seated. The staff is doing a great job, but the breakfast is rather poor, and the quality is low. The staff in the reception are polite are doing a good job, but they do for example not have any Nescafe, they can give you, if there isn't any on you room. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but this was due to the location of the hotel. Collapse

Our family had three rooms on the 5th and 6th floor of this Boutique Hotel. The rooms were clean, very nice, and well worth the mid priced fee. One of the rooms was the quad room for four, and it was very roomy and perfect for four (2 adults, 2 teens). The 24hr front desk was efficient and very helpful. They had good options for restaurants and arranged our airport transportation efficiently. The elevator was particularly helpful to us as we had 10 pieces of luggage, having arrived from a cruise. The A/C was wonderful and each room had a small balcony. As in all of Europe, if you are American you may want to bring your own washcloth. Other than that all of the amenities were available in the room including the hairdryer. Great Choice!! Just steps away from Trevi Fountain - can't get much closer, and an easy walk to Spanish Steps or Pantheon. Collapse

This hotel is in a fantastic location 1/2 a block from Trevi fountain! The staff is wonderful and incredibly helpful with any of your needs. Included breakfast was fresh and included barista coffee. My only negative is that there are a few maintenance issues. Our bathtub was missing caulking and leaked non-stop. Also in the middle of the night someone else's alarm went off and wouldn't stop. Overall I would recommend and would stay here again. Collapse

Normally a hotel with this location would be expected to provide it's guests a high standard of accommodation, some quality of room, service, food or cleanliness. Boutique Hotel Trevi fails on all these! I checked in early evening, and was offered the wrong room. The correct room became available after my protest. Whilst it was marginally larger it was still very small, that's the only positive. In the bathroom, the toilet seat was almost falling off, the toilet flush was broken, the minute low pressure shower still managed to flood the floor when used. The water made it's own mind up on. Temperature control. The room cleaning consisted on an emptying of the rubbish bins and reorganizing the bed sheets, which were never tucked in under the mattress. One morning we found a whole large toe nail clipping wandering around the floor. The aircon also seemed to require specialist knowledge to make it work correctly, a setting of 14C made it come on, but 18C turning it off. Frankly there have to be better choices, even if desperate! We had a couple of nights here for a busy trip to the city. We loved the central location, which was one of the reasons we chose it. Great room with a balcony which looked down onto the bustling streets. It was a lovely little place and staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel let us drop off our bags before our room was ready and also on the day we checked out, so we could roam round Rome without our luggage. The location was perfect, we walked there from the station and then walked around the city from there. Breakfast was basic and perfectly adequate for setting yourself up for long days of sightseeing. After all you are in Rome, so go out, walk around and soak it up. This quirky hotel was a perfect fit for our first visit to the city - not a large corporate place but a lovely authentic experience. Ps to those reviewers who think that they were disturbed by the noise and bustle; what did you expect locating yourself just a few metres from the Trevi fountain?! The bonus was getting up at 6am and having the whole place almost to yourself! Collapse
