This hotel was okay. Nothing to rave about, but probably would stay there again if I had to. The staff were friendly, the beds were comfy and the bathroom supplies were great. However, the breakfast buffet didn’t even have a toaster nor any hot food, the room was quite small especially once our bags were in, and the shower was the single worst shower I had ever been in. Without even touching the tap to adjust the temperature, the water would go from freezing cold, to boiling hot and it was never consistent. As well as this, the shower head was so awkwardly positioned in the middle of the bath, that you had to stand in an odd position to be under the water. The water pressure was also atrocious, and didn’t even allow me to properly rinse the shampoo out of my hair. The location is great if you were wanting to see the fountain, and the hotel is surrounded by lots of restaurants and gelato places. Because of the location, it is often quite noisy at night. Overall, it’s definitely not the best hotel I have stayed in, but that being said, it wasn’t the worst either. Collapse
Amazing location, but a bit tired (and noisy)

This hotel is great value for the amazing location. You can hear the Trevi fountain from the rooms! But the decor is pretty tired, and overnight there was a lot of noise from nearby rooms and reception. Good enough

Firstly let us express our gratitude to Mr Hussein , the manager, for his kindness and helpfulness.Yes, we did stay at the boutique hotel trevi from January 2nd till Wednesday 9 January. On our first day (my daughters and I) were met by Lorenzo at the front desk who was extremely kind and welcoming.Breakfast was convenient but a small dining area. Our room was small but clean and stylish. A big thank you to all the staff ,specially to the manager mr Hussein who was extremely helpful all the way.He booked for us train tickets to Florence,he called taxis for us .and above all he even upgraded our room.Emiliano also was so helpful. He recommended nice restaurants and provided us with maps. Highly recommend this hotel , so close to the Trevi Fountain ( 50 m) and the centre of Rome. You feel safe at night. But to be honest it isn’t the room neither the location that makes a holiday memorable .It ‘s the people . Thank you again Hussein,Lorenzo ,Emiliano and all the staff in the Boutique Hotel Trevi. Best regards . Sue kasparian. Collapse

We stayed here for two awful nights. The only positive thing I can say is that it is close to the fountain...but so are other places. The room we had was dirty, I felt like I should have brought some bleach with me to stay there. The room stunk like sewer gas, there was mold around the shower door, the towels looks like they had been in use for about twenty years and smelled like they had been washed only ten of those years, the headboard had stains all over it and the toilet and sink were not secured to the floor /wall. After the first night I could not stay in the room again so I explained what was wrong with the room and the guy at the front desk stood there with a smirk on his face and never offered another room or a fix to the situation. I demanded another room or I would check out so they said they did not have another comparable room available. I said I do not care if it is the same room or not I could not breath the sewer fumes anymore. They finally offered me a supposed better room although it was clear they did not want to. This room did not smell and the toilet was attached to the floor but it still had all the same issues remaining from the first room. Do not bother to pay extra for their breakfast as it was gross. We paid for it and I ended up eating a pastry and a coffee the entire time. I would not stay here a gain if you paid me. We were in Italy for three weeks and traveled all over and thank goodness all the other places were amazing. The owners should be embarrassed to allow guest to stay in such dirty rooms. Collapse
