We have just returned from a week at Alcudiamar Botel and it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, both the inside and outside pools are amazing and the cleanliness of the room and hotel in itself was superb. With the hotel being at the end of the marina, the views from all sides are fabulous and picturesque. Lots of things going on right outside like shops, restaurants and a lovely clean beach right at the end of the marina. We only stayed as Bed and Breakfast but the food choice was amazing and the meals we paid for were really good value and one of the best meals we had all holiday. Also, amazing cocktails - have a strawberry mojito. We definitely want to visit again and can't thank the staff enough for contributing to a great holiday. Collapse
Very nice indeed!

After a number of years of package holidays, we were keen to break the repetitive routines that come with the big tour operators, and as keen cyclists that hadn’t been to Alcudia before, we chose to stay at the Botel Alcudiamar. If you are travelling alone or as a couple (as we were) and a 75 Euro cab fare from the airport seems steep, take the Aerotib A32 bus from Palma airport. Runs most hours and can whisk you across the island for a bargain 9 Euro’s each and when we used it, it took less than an hour. Port Alcudia is about the 4th stop on the route from the airport to C’an Picafort. You can see the hotel from the bus stop on the seafront, and is about a ten minute casual stroll. If location is everything, then this hotel has everything. Located at the end of the marina it’s surrounded by the sea on three sides. Reached via a beachfront path or a tree lined walkway with restaurants and a nightly market, the approach really is impressive. Even as we entered the reception area for the first time, it was clear that this hotel really is something else. We had booked a 10 night B&B stay in a standard room and were delighted to be given a free upgrade to a first floor suite for the first five days which was wonderful, as the apartment faced directly on to the open sea. A snazzy whirlpool bath and a walk in multi-jet shower, large balcony and hammock added to the fun. When we later changed to a standard room, we found ourselves on the other side of the hotel overlooking the marina – it was a nice contrast and equally impressive. Overall, the hotel is kept spotlessly clean and runs seamlessly. The infinity pool is spectacular. The restaurant is lovely and offers a wide variety of food. No mad rush for sunbeds and are available all day. Reserving sunbeds is not allowed and the policy rigorously imposed for the benefit of everyone. All the staff are very professional and helpful. Even the huge bike storage facilities impressed. You need to pay for a safe, something like 2.75 Euro’s a day. There are no kettles in rooms but I believe if you ask at reception they do provide them. Pool towels are issued free of charge and need to be exchanged on leaving for a voucher you’d signed when you arrived. Only niggles I could offer would be that the wi-fi was a bit hit and miss but wasn’t an issue due to 4G data coverage, and hot breakfast food could’ve been hotter, but neither of these should detract from giving top marks. We were keen to avoid ‘more of the same’ experienced over the years, and this is exactly what we achieved, - a lovely relaxing holiday in a unique hotel. Collapse

Just returned from a lovely week at Botel Alcudiamr. The hotel is situated at the end of the marina and made for a lovely spot away from the main part of Alcudia, that is just a short walk along the marina. The marina has a small supermarket, restaurant and place you can hire water sports equipment. Such as SUP, kayaks, small sail boats and lots of others. We had a suite room, with a balcony that over looked the pool and sea, it was a good size with kitchenette and setting area. The room was cleaned everyday. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We wanted to rent a boat for the day and they sorted it all out for us. Towels for the pool are also provided and could be swapped for clean ones every other day. I would stay again. Collapse

What an Incredible hotel! I've stayed all over the world in every class of hotel but I think this is my favourite! We didn't even have one of the best view rooms , a big regret I didn't pay the extra, having ogled the sea and pool view rooms when passing them . It's not a huge hotel so it has such a laidback atmosphere , the staff always so helpful and friendly and willing to help. No queues for breakfast, no trouble getting sunbeds etc...... The layout is fabulous, kind of an indoors outdoors vibe. When you come down in the evenings to go out for dinner you walk out through the pool area which is quite stunning. The location is absolutely superb. Beautiful quiet beach on one side, marina on the other, and the short walk to the main strip is lined with lovely restaurants. Plus: Location Staff Common areas , Pool area and beautiful gardens Lovely indoor pool (though didn't use) Lovely fresh cool CLEAN rooms Pool bar, lovely place to lunch & terrific value No kids club, mainly adult hotel- lovely calm vibe Small no. Of guests Negatives Pay extra for safe in room Having to leave Will 100% be back. Thank you all so much Collapse
