The hotel location is on the beach but you definitely Cant see the beach. The layout is very large so you spend a lot of your time waiting around for shuttle buses to take you to the gym or front desk or anywhere it’s really inconvenient. The hotel rooms are average nice soap and shampoo tv is nice that’s about it. They do have a wave pool and a golf course if you are into that type of stuff. But I think the biggest let down besides nothing working gym showers didn’t work couple of restaurants were closed.... besides that it was the staff it all seemed that they didn’t want to be there which reflects on the customer experience I think the GM needs to do something to motivate these guys. I would suggest keeping this hotel as a plan B. Collapse

I recently stayed for two nights at the Boca Raton Resort for a "girls weekend" with a friend. We found the resort to be gracious, elegant and impeccably clean. Every staff member was extremely friendly, and we loved our spa and dining experiences. Do not miss the spa and salon when you visit: the experience is top notch! However, we were distressed at one aspect of our stay. I booked (well in advance) a Water View Junior Suite with two double beds. The first night had already been charged to my card. When we checked in (about ah hour before the official check in time), we were assigned a room with a king bed in the "yacht club" building at the resort. This building, while elegant, has a much more old-fashioned, "fussy" look to the decorating than the room I had selected and booked. When we called to state that the king bed was not acceptable and that we wanted the room we had booked, we were informed that due to an error, no junior suites were available. However, the front desk assured us that our new room assignment represented an "upgrade". We were given another "yacht club" room with two double beds, and were told to call if this was not acceptable. We did call back, and continued to press for our original booking. Then a bellhop came and showed us a (suddenly available!) junior suite; however, this one was not facing the water. I asked the bellhop if this was a water view suite (a tiny strip of water was visible from one window) and was told that "they would probably call it that." I returned to the front desk a THIRD time, and said that it was unacceptable that with the vast number of rooms in the resort that there was not a single water view junior suite. The front desk attendant disappeared behind a door, and remained away for about five minutes. He returned silent and with a resigned look on his face, and handed us the keys to a fourth room. Lo and Behold: a Water View Junior Suite with Two Double Beds. It was truly lovely, and exactly what we had wanted. Which is why we booked it in the first place. The Resort did try to pamper us a bit to take the edge off of this utterly annoying experience: free drinks, free dessert, and a free spa bathing service. We appreciated those efforts, and did enjoy the rest of our stay quite a bit. But we felt that they had been trying to play us, hoping that we would relent so that they could give this suite to someone else. At each step they were insistent that we were being "upgraded" and that no other options were available. Until they were. Collapse

We have just returned from a weekend at this resort and it is beautiful. The staff is hit or miss, sadly mostly miss. We approached a bellman for help with our luggage. He rolled a cart our way and literally jogged away. We stacked our bags ourselves to the embarrassment of the valet. The valet was very kind and promised to have our bags delivered immediately to our room, but I️ was honestly skeptical. They were delivered immediately. We came to the hotel for a family function. We were put in the Bungalo which took us 40 minutes to figure out where that was located. The room was so far away and very not nice. I called the front desk and asked to be put closer to the main hotel so we could be with my family. They told me I could but there would be an up charge since I was part of a room block. I agreed. The bungalows were so far away I might as well of stayed at a red roof Inn down the street. We reserved two hotel rooms - one for my husband and I and one for our children. The rooms were separated by 10 rooms, which is absurd. They swore the rooms were right next door to each other even though the room numbers indicated they were not. They were 10 rooms apart. We moved to the main hotel where we one room was ready. The second room would be available later which was fine with us. We didn’t really need it until night time for sleeping. I was told we should wait in the room and they would call us when the second room became available. I went to the front desk and explained I would not be waiting in my room until the other room was available. They kindly agreed to take my cell phone number to let me know when the room would be available. Unfortunately they called us to say they had to move us yet again but we were getting a room upgrade. To be honest we couldn’t really tell the difference between the rooms since we already paid the upgrade fee. However my brother’s room was really outdated. We were very thankful to Jefferey for taking such good care of us. However the entire experience was ridiculous. While we were there for family function we also want to make the most of our time there. There are a lot of other resorts in Florida I would preferred to stay in again. Collapse
