Great stay at the hotel ocean hill all rooms modern and new fixtures and fittings and everything we needed for a self catering stay. The hotel is set on a hill with brilliant views of the sea. Situated less than 5 minutes walk from the europa centre which is full of bars shops and restaurants and about 20 minutes walk to the main centre, only 4 Euro in a taxi to get there if you don't fancy the walk. Beaches in both directions and both beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to return here it was amazing . Even got a valentines card and chocolates of the hotel put in our room by the maid . Nice little touch Collapse

My husband and I have just returned back after 1 week from Ocean Hill and loved it. The newly refurbished apartments have been done to a good modern standard. Loads of room, the balcony was huge and we had our own sun loungers and table and chairs, all the apartments face the sea and the views are amazing. It was so quiet I hardly left the room till night when we went for something to eat and drink. There are 2 big pools and a separate private pool. The snacks bar food was really nice and not bad priced either. There are different room types so you just need to make sure you pick the right one we were second to the top, which had better views of the ocean, I think it was 1 bedroom apartment sea view self catering. The rooms are kept spotless and the cleaning staff came everyday to clean and gave us fresh new towels as well. Would love to bring my family back in august but been told its age 16+ only which is a shame as we prefer to be at the top near the Europa centre. Maybe Oct when my son will be 16! Collapse
Ok for B&B or Self Catering

Stayed at Ocean Hill for one week All Inclusive. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with a good sized balcony and super fast wifi, although not all rooms get a good signal; our friends three floors up could not connect. Breakfast was good, but lunch & evening meal not so; food was cold so we only ate evening meal once and then decided to eat out for remainder of holiday. All the bars are outside, which will be fine for summer but not so good in February. Finally lifts are initially difficult to find and the internal lift button labelling for rooms is partially incorrect. A nice hotel for chilling out, but food needs improvement. Collapse
The most interested was the new guest witch arrive when the go up and down in the elevator to see if they find there rom

We had all inclusive, it is the West choice. 1st the wine was a katastrof(WE ARE IN SPAIN!!!)They always say in the bar, we have better wine in bottles and you get 10% discount, comparing to hotells shop above restaurant the wine was calculate with 300%so 10% what a "PARTY" The food??? after 3 days you know everything the most exciting was if they had the plates on the same place as at the lunch or if it had change place. There was a lot of food so guest who was there for eating there must have been O.K. But if you need anything some touch you had to go outside the hotel there was a lit of bars.(I could think that is an business deal for the hotel)go out and we dont need to serve.)No feeling in total on the hotel, if they not had have there very nice poolside with more than 3 pools 2 of them was very big around 8 x 20 m the hotel could never get an international 3 star, they say they have 4 but there are no sign for that so that is probably only an hopp witch they never can get. Restaurant very Noicy simple tables and chairs, in white an bok if the color not has been that you might think you had been in former east germany Collapse

These apartments are situated on the hillside around the corner of the main Puerto Rico site (on the way to Amadores). If you like it quiet, this is an ideal location. Adult only guests. The main town centre is only a 25 minute walk, meandering down various staircases to reach the Commercial Centre/beach/marina where you can find numerous shops and restaurants. A taxi back to the top will cost 4euros. The Europa Centre is a 7 minute walk away and again you will find a large range of eateries, souvenir shops and supermarkets. If you do have mobility issues, Ocean Hill is not for you. It is a large complex which has been totally refurbished. Maintenance staff are still on hand, putting finishing touches to different areas. All apartments face out to the sea, so no panic when booking. Each looked to have a balcony with table, chairs, umbrellas and sun loungers. Views to cherish. Our one bedroom apartment was one of eight situated at the bottom of the complex. In order to reach it we had to take 3 lifts. Fine for me but my husband suffers from vertigo and he couldn't look over the edge. There are stairs all the way down but sometimes not convenient. A map is provided to find your way, after a couple of days you can work out short cuts. The bottom four apartments had access directly to a slim, private pool whereas we had to go down about 10 steps to reach it. Sun loungers around pool. Our apartment was perfect. Kitchen - toaster, kettle, coffee machine, microwave, 2 ring hob, fridge. Plates, glasses, cups and saucers, cutlery for 3 people. Frying pan, 2 saucepans and basic kitchen equipment. Washing up liquid and dishcloths not provided.Lounge- Flat screen tv (controls on bottom of set), sofa bed, breakfast bar. Bathroom - Super walk in shower, powerful hairdryer, SOFT towels! Block soap provided. Bedroom - 2 larger than singles very comfortable beds with duvets. Small wardrobe, no dressing table. Safe inside wardrobe 30 Euros, 10 Euros deposit for a week. Balcony - Huge, table and chairs, umbrella and two couches/beds. Maid service each day apart from Tuesday and Sunday. Pool table, mini market, gym. Infinity pool and main pool Life guard on duty. Plenty of loungers and seating all around. Day bar serving drinks and snacks. Night time bar serving drinks. Only time I heard music being played. All inclusive or self catering. From hotel front, to go to Amadores beach/restaurants turn left down hill. Turn right for Europa centre. Down the hill to walk into Puerto Rico. Coastal walk from Amadores to Puerto Rico about half an hour, Beautiful to walk both day and night. Ferry to Mogan from PR harbour 11 Euros return. Market day on Friday, worth a look. Bus station in middle of town to get buses to Maspalomas and Argueningin. Recommend Chinese restaurant in Europa centre - Gran Hong Kong(2nd floor) and Balcon Canario Restaurant in Commercial Centre, halfway along around by taxi rank. Collapse
