When we were looking to book here really happy Great views, great value price , really nice photos of the hotel inside and out then we get there it wasn't nothing to what we see online disappointing . Improvements needed first me and my boyfriend got here found a cigarette packet in the wardrobe while i was unpacking my things, so we moved rooms the next day as it was late when we arrived and the reception was closed. Then when we moved to another room we had leaky taps and toilet was leaking so we had to use the cleaners bucket to help stop all the water from going everywhere. Cleaners only come in the room once to clean for the whole week we were here when they did clean didn't do much and we always took off the do not disturb sign when we went out so the cleaners can clean and they didn't bother. So me and my boyfriend often cleaned the room ourselfs. Cleaners need to do there jobs properly. Wasn't that impressed! Collapse

Just returned from a gorgeous 4 night stay here with my mum. We wanted just a cheap little break over the bank holiday weekend and we got so much more. The complex has two pools and a mini golf course. A restaurant which we had lunch in a couple of times and found to be nice food. Our room was on the bottom floor and the view out to sea was amazing. There is always plenty of sunbeds both with shade and without. We spent our days at the pool by the restaurant as it has a gate directly out to the cove with a ladder and jumping platforms into the sea, the water was so clear, it was honestly such an added extra to the hotel we loved being able to pop in for an afternoon swim without having to go the beach. If you are a beach goer there is one either side of the hotel the nearest being Cala Santandria which you can get to in 10 mins walk via the pavement outside or we walked across the rocks next the hotel and there's lots of other coves you can stop and swim in on your way round. The 'strip' is no more than 7 minutes walk away and again you can take the beach way or the road. There is a viewing platform on the beach side to sit and watch the sunset. There is a few restaurants to choose from and an Irish bar. We ate at Jenny's a lot of the time as they do a set menu for either 10.50, 12.50 or 15.00 and a tapas menu for 25. All include 3 courses, bread and wine and it was all lovely. We also tried the restaurant at the front of the strip opposite the Irish bar and had sangria and paella and it was delicious. There is a supermarket next to the hotel for all your essentials and the apartment is spotless and fully equipped for self catering. There is a fan in both the bedroom and the living area, a tv (the remote is 20euros from reception which you get back at the end), the bathroom was modern with a walk in shower and a hairdryer. We were lucky to have much better weather then we expected which made it all the better. If you are looking for a quiet break away with the [potential to get out see the island its the perfect place, worth every penny and perfect for couples, singles and families. We cant wait to come back :) Collapse

At 29 euros per night for a one bedroom apartment looking directly out to sea, quiet with stunning sunsets this was a great find. We stayed in apartment 323 which is yet to be refurbished so the kitchen was a bit tired (rusty hob rings which are a bit dangerous as pan slides off), but serviceable and very clean as was the whole apartment. Two good pools not busy, we didnt use them swam in the sea everyday, go down the rocks behind the apartments and swim in the sea - really nice experience. A great base to explore the island. Julia on reception deserves a mention she was very helpful, I had a list of things we needed, she really did do her best, obtaining fly spray, ice cube trays and an extra duvet for me to use as a mattress topper (beds a bit old and very hard which my back wouldn't cope with - unless I wanted to wake up with numb feet and hands!). There are no pool towels so if like us you fly with hand luggage only then this is a bit of problem - we bought some locally for 12.5 euros each so no real drama. Good clean basic accommodation but the location is a complete wow so all in all great value for money. A car is essential, the driving was easy (first time I had driven on the right) go and find those wonderful beaches Pillar was our favorite, the further you are prepared to walk the better the beach! Scenery amazing very green loads of flora, Friesian cows!, birds singing, narrow lanes with stone walls and endless sunshine and turquoise seas. A walk around the old town of Cuitadella is well worth while and there are some great restaurants at the waters edge. Food and drink: Food in the main tourist area of Calabalnca okay for the first night but aimed at the unadventurous Brit! We didn't sample the food at the apartments but it did look good, so if you want a night in give it a try. We would suggest walking or driving a little further - great tapas in restaurant "Sa Cova" at Cala Blancala, tables by the waters edge so you can watch the fish swimming in the sea (15 min walk). Fantastic little bar on opposite side of the beach "Hola Ola" again great place to watch the sun go down. A short walk round the rocks (the walk is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, but you can get there by road too) the other way to Playa Santandria and restaurant "Cova Sa Nacra" and there are many more.... First visit to the lovely island and it will not be our last we absolutely loved it and would definitely book these apartments again..... Collapse
