Bitacora Club Lanzarote has it all. Less than a 10 minute walk to the old town with its large selection of bars and restaurants, all centred around the harbour (only about 6 minutes walk to the Biosfera Shopping Centre, home to Zara, Mango and many more shops!) Less than 10 mins walk to the sea. Yet the area is quiet, and you can escape the hustle and bustle of the resort, yet pop down and join in on the atmosphere if the mood takes you! Lanzarote is an impressive island full of contrasts, with astonishing volcanic landscapes, big beaches and small coves of white, golden or dark sand.
We have 85 one bed apartments laid out over 2 floors (ground and upper). All apartments come with a separate bedroom, with 2 single beds. Bathroom with bath and shower connection. The kitchen is equipped with a 2 ring hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and a fridge. There is a sofa bed to sleep a 3rd person in the lounge. TV in all apartments with English channels including RTE 1 and RTE 2, so you don’t have to miss your favourite TV programmes while on holiday. All apartments have a terrace or balcony with tables and chairs. All Rooms Include Satellite TV
Set beneath a range of steep hills on the south coast of Lanzarote, Puerto del Carmen is the island’s major holiday resort. Its main feature is a spectacular two-mile (3km) golden beach, which is backed by a main road, The Strip, where shops, bars and restaurants of every variety can be found. The Old Town retains some of its old world charm, and is home to some of the best fish restaurants on the island. The resort of Puerto del Carmen offers entertainment for all ages. It is the centre of the Lanzarote’s nightlife and is within easy distance of all the island’s key attractions.

When we walked down cardiac hill and back up the not so steep hill it only took us an hour, a nice gentle walk. Collapse

A really nice apartment hotel so lovely and clean and smashing air con which is free although you just have to leave a deposit for the remote which you get back when you return it to keep you cool at night they are so well equipped with TV, fridge, hairdryer even soap in the shower should you wish to use it you can hire a iron and ironing board should you need to the pillows are not very comfy it was like sleeping on a Swiss roll The pool area is really nicely kept clean not enough umbrella's we counted around 90 sun-beds and only 17 umbrellas the pool steps are quite steep not good if your disabled and the pool is rather deep and cold until you have been it a while there was a little boy running around the pool which was a shame as we thought his mum ran the pool bar and numerous people complained as all we all wanted was peace and quiet There's a well equipped shop and the gate is locked at night so your safe in the complex Would I go back absolutely brilliant loved it Collapse

My wife and I have just returned from a 10 night stay and I have to say we found the facilities very good. We usually book a higher grade of accommodation but due to family commitments we found ourselves booking at short notice and this holiday came up with Jet2.. I was apprehensive due to the overall low cost. I needn't have worried, we've paid far more in recent years and received much worse. On arrival to check in we were met by a very helpful man in reception, it later became obvious that they couldn't do enough for the guests. Our apartment was on the upper floor and benefited from a very well laid out kitchenette, the bathroom and bedroom were spotless and it was a welcome addition to find air conditioning in the bedroom at no additional charge, we only had to pay a refundable deposit of €20 for the remote control. Apartments were cleaned every couple of days ( not always the case when self catering ) and we had absolutely no issues with the standard of service. As per previous comments, the pool was very deep and the steps leading in were high, this being said there was a children's pool so only proficient swimmers should be using the large pool. The apartments are well situated and it's only a short walk to restaurants and bars, if you travel downhill it can be a hike walking back up however a top tip would be to walk along Calle Togio to the Hiperdino Supermarket and walk towards the Biosphere, it's not as gruelling a walk. We were flying home late Sunday night and had to vacate the apartments @ 11.00 AM, unfortunately we couldn't book a late check out due to fresh gusts arriving however they allowed us to hold onto the room until 1.00 PM at no extra charge and we were able to shower and change in one of the courtesy rooms. All good so far, just one minor criticism, the pool area has around 90 to 100 sun beds ( no charge for sun bed use) the problem is that in total I counted around 17 parasols and probably 24 stands, nowhere near enough available, in my opinion this certainly needs addressing. All in all a brilliant stay in lovely surroundings and we will certainly be returning again very soon. Thanks to all the staff for an enjoyable holiday.. Collapse

We went to the Bitacora club in August for a 2 week family holiday my husband, 15 year old daughter and me. We as in an upstairs apartment at the back of the complex looking at the pools (231). The apartment was really nice and clean. The children's bed was a pull out sofa bed which turned into a double bed so our 15 year daughter was happy with that. The maids came every other day to clean the rooms and change towels and empty bins which was fine and the bed sheets were changed once in the 2 weeks we were there. The 2 guys at the reception was very helpful we asked them where to get the bus from to get into the city, they helped us with booking the bus for the water park and on the first morning, when we woke up we had an ant infestation, they seemed to be coming out of the plug socket that my daughter had her phone charger plugged into and within an hour they had got it sorted and they never returned. We paid for the safe but the air conditioning you didn't need to pay for the remote, you could turn it on without it. There was a lidl supermarket about 5 minutes walk from the apartment where you can buy really cheap food and alcohol from. We ate out everyday for breakfast and tea time meals and the hill is quite steep going back up to the apartments but if your fit it's fine and if you did want to get a taxi it was very cheap. The little cafe on the complex was nice, we only ate there a couple of times as we found it really cheap to walk onto the seafront and get a breakfast from one of the restaurants there as it was cheaper. The only issue was the sun beds people put their towels on early and then didn't come back to the sunbeds till after 2pm some days and if people only had a sun bed when they were actually using them then there wouldn't of been any issues it was so annoying and the guys on reception just shrugged their shoulders (I suppose it happens all the time). It was a very nice place but I don't think we will be returning (this is not because of the bitacora) it's the place in general there wasn't enough for us to do as we prefer to do a lot of walking and excursions and at the time we went there was a national strike so we couldn't do a lot of the excursions like the volcano trip that we had planned to do. The only excursion we did was the water park in Costa teguise which was a good day out. Collapse
