Bitacora Club Lanzarote has it all. Less than a 10 minute walk to the old town with its large selection of bars and restaurants, all centred around the harbour (only about 6 minutes walk to the Biosfera Shopping Centre, home to Zara, Mango and many more shops!) Less than 10 mins walk to the sea. Yet the area is quiet, and you can escape the hustle and bustle of the resort, yet pop down and join in on the atmosphere if the mood takes you! Lanzarote is an impressive island full of contrasts, with astonishing volcanic landscapes, big beaches and small coves of white, golden or dark sand.
We have 85 one bed apartments laid out over 2 floors (ground and upper). All apartments come with a separate bedroom, with 2 single beds. Bathroom with bath and shower connection. The kitchen is equipped with a 2 ring hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and a fridge. There is a sofa bed to sleep a 3rd person in the lounge. TV in all apartments with English channels including RTE 1 and RTE 2, so you don’t have to miss your favourite TV programmes while on holiday. All apartments have a terrace or balcony with tables and chairs. All Rooms Include Satellite TV
Set beneath a range of steep hills on the south coast of Lanzarote, Puerto del Carmen is the island’s major holiday resort. Its main feature is a spectacular two-mile (3km) golden beach, which is backed by a main road, The Strip, where shops, bars and restaurants of every variety can be found. The Old Town retains some of its old world charm, and is home to some of the best fish restaurants on the island. The resort of Puerto del Carmen offers entertainment for all ages. It is the centre of the Lanzarote’s nightlife and is within easy distance of all the island’s key attractions.

The bitacora is a lovely little complex in a great location between the old and new towns. The rooms are basic but in generally good order. However with a few improvements could be so much better. The reception isn't always manned so other staff in the complex do a range of reception duties. I thought it a bit cheeky charging for WiFi especially when it's free in all the surrounding bars etc. We had booked bed and breakfast but the girl serving was unaware of it so we had to try and prove it.. The breakfast itself was very limited if you didn't like a fry up you were stuffed. There were a few other items on the breakfast menu but they were very uninspiring. Porridge, white toast. The fruit salad was a few slices of banana, apple and orange. The bar closed around 5oclock so you had to leave the complex to eat or drink. The apartment itself was OK but pretty basic. The kettle was lethal didn't shut off when boiled. The towels were only changed once. The bathroom was a little grubby needed a decent scrub lots of dust on toilet roll holder and grime around the taps. On a positive note the staff were really friendly but seemed not to do a great deal. On the whole a decent complex but a little bit of tlc would make it so much better Collapse

Stayed at the Bitacora fron 5th to 12th Feb 2017. All the staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The pool area was spotless and we liked the idea there was only smoking in certain areas. Jen and Daisy at the pool bar very friendly too. Watch out for the Gin and Tonics though..... very very nice but very very strong too....thanks Daisy!! Perfect location with a nice stroll to the beach front where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again without a doubt. Kazza and Craig ☀☀ Collapse

Stayed here for one week as a last minute break. Apartment was more than adequate for three of us very clean & well maintained. Check in was straight forward and apartment was ready before check in time which was a bonus! had a drink at the bar a few times where local beer was around 3euro & vodka was around 4 Euro. There is an onsite supermarket which was well stocked it's open from 8am till 11.30 pm it was a few euro more than the other local shop but a great convenience! The hotel is set out near the back end of the resort ok walking down around ten mins but up hill coming back which is not bad for some people or if you feel lazy a taxi back from Puerto del carmen is 3euro which is not bad at all. There is wifi in the apartments of 6 Euro a day or 25euro a week. Transfer from the airport is ten mins if that! And costs around 16euros. My only snag is pillows where not great and with being on the sofa bed in the kitchen area the light reflects through at night time & when the sun rises could do with a blackout curtain that's the only thing all in all good visit. Stayed for 10 nights end of January to February. Good apartment overlooking pool with morning sun. Pool cold although thick skinned people used it daily, plenty of sunbeds. Hotel policy of no reserving sunbeds with towels was ignored by ' a certain nationality renowned for the practice !! '. Convenient for Strip of bars and restaurants down the hill. Local supermarkets. I used the onsite bar for snacks whilst around the pool and they were good. I am a gym fan and found 2 good gyms in the Old Town, a 15 minute steady walk away. The apartment was clean, adequate cooking facilities, though no oven. 2 single beds in separate bedroom, and sofa bed in lounge. Aircon available at a charge, got cool at night, but blankets available.Safe at extra charge. Will be staying again, as I enjoyed the holiday. Collapse
