We had a 3 night stay here. The good- not a bad location but a bit away from sights. GREAT TIP - you must get and learn how to use Uber to travel around. It is a modern hotel. The food in restaurant is good quality and not a bad price. Bed is really comfortable. Shower is good.Door staff, porter and reception were good. The bad - air conditioning unit in bedroom is really really load. Only 2 reception staff and really need more or a concierge. Map of LA supplied was rubbish and went straight in bin. Lots of towels in bedroom but no where to hang them. Wardrobe and clothes space is non existent if staying for more than 1 day. Tea and coffee not replenished and cleaning could be better. The comical - we had a meal on our last night that was very funny due to our waiter. He forgot things, gave us wrong menus, didn't bring spoons to stir coffee, over charged us by $30, would not let us have one item on menu, as he said that he had never seen it before!! Evening was very funny but we could have reacted a bit differently if we were not enjoying the wine and beer. All in all not a personal type of hotel to stay in and would guess there are better hotels in LA. Collapse

This 12-story hotel was previously owned by another big chain, and Marriott refurbished it in 2015. Our room was designed in such a way that we were inspired to take a photo of it. However, staying there for three days we encountered a few problems. The sofa that stretches the width of the room is dramatic, but it is not a comfortable place to sit (and there was no other place to sit). Service is excellent, and management has instituted policies to ensure maximum use of it. There is no list of TV stations in the room. If you want the list, somebody will bring it to you. (There is also no guide on the TV and, thus, no way to know what programs are playing at any given time. That was an annoyance when we decided to take a break and relax watching TV.) There are no ice machines available to guests. The guest book advised to call for somebody will bring ice. (Eventually I learned there is a way to get ice without calling.) The hotel does not provide drinking glasses. Paper coffee cups are the only beverage receptacles provided. When I asked for drinking glasses, somebody showed up with more paper coffee cups. (We confiscated plastic glasses at a fast-food place and used them for our wine.) If you have mobility problems or difficulty bending, you may find it inconvenient that all drawers are very close to the floor. The room was a good size, and we enjoyed our view. We also liked that the room comes with a refrigerator and coffee maker. Housekeeping was generous in providing coffee on request. Collapse

The room was nice and clean, and beautiful views of LA and the Hollywood sign was visible if you knew were to look. The bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping and room service were efficient and kind. The Starbucks branded coffee bar was out of Chai tea and out of frappacino mix. Fortunately there are tons of Starbucks in close proximity. The only real issue we had was that parking was valet only and our rental car came back to us with a huge ding on the door. I was annoyed and asked what they were going to do, and it was clear that they did not know what to do. My husband reminded me that it was a rental car and not to worry. So I didn't and we had a great day! I would stay here again. Collapse

The Beverly Hills Marriott was previously a Crowne Plaza. Kudos on the refurbishment. From check in to check out the staff was very helpful. Our suite was spacious with a view of the Beverly Hills skyline. The decor was very sleek and modern. Our only complaint was the lack of towel racks for the hand towels. The club was small, but did not feel too crowded. Although we did have time to use the pool, it looked inviting and private, sheltered by shrubbery. We would definitely return when back in the area.
