Confortable and modern rooms

Clean, confortable, modern rooms. My room had a bath tub which was great for the kids after long days walking around the city. Helpful staff. Surrounded by nice restaurants. Breakfast was ok too. Would return to this hotel.

This hotel was perfect for us, a young couple visiting Rome for the first time. The location was really good, we walked everywhere except the airport, the staff were friendly, and rooms were clean. My favorite thing was perhaps the free smart phone they provided during our stay, we used google maps a LOT and looked up restaurants near us when we got hungry. If we had had to use our own phones, the data costs would’ve been really high. Would definitely stay here again! Collapse

My husband booked this break to take me to see the Christmas markets. (See seperate review for that as well as our experience of Rome as well) The hotel is just a few streets away from the bus drop off point. My advise if coming by the teravision bus is when you get off, go in the direction the bus is facing two blocks but on the opposite side then go left down side street at end, cross over going right, then down 1 block and it's on right. So to summerise, get off, walk forward, at the end of the train station which is on right, cross over going down, then cross again so your facing same way you was when got off bus. Once over the 2nd crossing, go down one block. Look right and you should see hotel on right. There was a big sign. So 15 minutes tops if your a regular speed walker. When crossing roads, from what we gathered, unless there is a pelican crossing with lights you press you just step out and walk. They will stop. If you wait like here in the UK they won't. The hotel it's self is nice and grand. The staff are very welcoming (except the resturants breakfast manager who wasn't friendly at all on 2nd day. I will mention that later). The lobby has seating and a few lifts. It has a trolly if you need it for your bags. Explore around once dumped bags. Gives you an idea of facilities. The spa facilities are lovely and well maintained. You have a couple of high tech treadmills. Weights station. Various balls. Bike etc but nice and compact. There are some doors leading through to a steam sauna, there is a dry sauna and a shower room which has 4 different jets. One was not functioning fully but they all worked. Just play around. They all heat up as well, I know some can be just cold. You do need to ask for them to put on the various saunas as we found out. I thought they wasn't working but they need to put them on. Make sure the big doors are closed. We set fire alarm off with steam sauna. Funny but anyhow... There is also a water machine. The layout is wrong though as the showers are in another section so you change into swim wear in one section, walk through carpeted gym area into wet area. Not thought that through. The rooms all have a temperature dial so you can heat or cool accordingly. The bed was massive and very comfy. Deep. The lights was faulty. He main light wouldn't work in morning which made looking for dropped goods very difficult. We called someone who said there was a fault but it would be fixed later.. The views wasn't best but as we on floor 7 it could have been worse if we was lower. We had a balcony which had square table and chairs and 1 sun lounger. The bathroom was high spec. There was a shower, toilet and bee day or how ever you spell it. Then a basin but it was all modern with polished tiles throughout. The hairdryer was stronger than others in rooms. There was a mini bar but you get charged for what you use. The dressing table was also nice. Breakfast was very reasonable considering prices in Rome. There are various breads. Marmalade. I saw Nutella for kids. Fruitsalad. Scrambled eggs and Scrambled eggs with ham. Foreign bacon and mini hotdogs. Cerial on was cornflakes, chocolate rice crispies and muesli. Fresh fruit. Boiled eggs. Sliced fresh meats and salmi and even salad. I saw yogurt so if you don't like any of that, then you really are a fussy person. If you wanted a capuccino ask otherwise coffee, fresh juice and water is help yourself. One note on going back if using bus service. Go early. They cancelled our bus as more wanted to go to other airport so we then had to buy more tickets for a different bus company. You can buy tickets at bus service or buy at kiosks. We paid €10 each but lost 1 due to them cancelling our bus. So it's €5 each way each. Overall we loved the hotel. Hope my review helps. Collapse

The location is everything about this property, super convenient and a walking distance for the city center where all the shopping and good restaurants are. The rooms are tint but this is normal for Europe, the bathroom was very nice and the products provided amazing. The heating however was very warm so I had to open the window each time. One staff member really made my stay perfect, Marco at the reception was very cute and helpful with any request. The BAR is ok but you have other options outside, the breakfast less than average was disappointed by it. I am coming back to the property but I will be getting my food elsewhere. Collapse
