The hotel was a surprise to me, on the outside it looks grey and boring, but the inside tells a completely different story, from a modern plush look to the attentive staff, so i guess it proves a book should not be judged by its cover. However, i did have a few issues. The first of which was getting, if you go past the turning you are meant to go down the journey in rush hour traffic can be a night mare, it needs a signpost on the road for the hotel, im amazed it does not have one. Once i managed to get to the hotel parking was a bit of a task as people seem incapable of parking between lines. Dont despair though, if you cannot park at the front i found a number of spaces at the back. The room was lovely, but, one of the bulbs in the bathroom didnt work in a already very dark room. On entering the bathroom there was dirty tissue on the floor behind the door which you would not expect. And the bed.... the bed was so soft, and sprung it was like sleeping in a trampoline, it took ages to get to sleep, but once asleep i did sleep like a log. The air con in the room was great, and the bath is massive, probably the biggest bath I have ever used, such a please after a difficult day at work and driving from one side of London to the other. The food was lovely, i opted for a meal off the menu. I would say though the desserts are pricey and the beer is over priced. Breakfast was a buffet and nicely cooked. All the staff are very good at customer service. Sort out the beds and the bulbs and the idiots who cannot park, oh and the road sign and this hotel would be a 5/5. I would say best hotel in this area i have stayed in so far. Collapse

This hotel is about 5-8 miles from the airport in a residential section of Hounslow. The hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. We stayed only one night as we flew out the next morning. Breakfast was included in our room rate. It was a buffet and had a variety of things. Full English breakfast to rolls, toast, cereal, fruit, etc. The room was very comfortable especially the bed. They have a diner buffet and the night we were there, it must have been Indian food night. We could smell the wonderful aroma. Lots of Indians were there for the buffet, I think they came from the town. Don't know more about the buffet, but it was very popular. They do not have shuttle to the airport, but they will call a private taxi. That was very convenient. For just an overnight stay this hotel was excellent. Collapse

The hotel and rooms have been nicely renovated however they forgot to do something to insulate the rooms against noise. I requested a quiet room with my booking and on check in asked if my room was quiet and was assured it was. My room faced the cross sections of two major roads, on inquiry about any other room I was told no, but there were other rooms across the hallway facing away from the roads that would have been a little quieter. The traffic noise was horrific but the room was also directly under the landing pathway with the planes perfectly framed in my window. To add to this you can hear the toilets flushing and showers running above and around you, people chatting in their rooms or in the hallway might as well be in your room. If you are not a light sleeper and not noise adverse may work for you. On a couple of days because I was working in my room I had a slip of paper slid under my door at 11.30 AM to say that since my do 'not disturb sign' was on, my room would not be serviced, yet they were returning to do other rooms around me even into mid afternoon. I was told that because I booked via another website and not directly with them I could forget being taken care of. The rooms and bathrooms are well renovated, but be aware that some bathrooms have the shower over the bath and are quite slippery. From a cleaning perspective the room is nice and clean on arrival, after that it gets a cursory wipe over, however I did get one good service during the 8 nights that I had booked in for from two women working together. They were very friendly and accommodating, more than what I got from some of the reception staff. The food is all cooked from frozen so not much flavor and my spinach was so full of grit I could not eat it, not cleaned properly. The surrounding area does not have much to offer within walking distance nor many choices to dine out. Regretted staying here, some may enjoy it. Collapse

This hotel came up a special offer on Expedia and I thought " Oh no, not Hounslow", but Hounslow is great for Heathrow and Central London. It's actually a very clean and efficient hotel. The staff are very helpful and the room / bathroom were modern, spotlessly clean and everything works. I was really happy. I think the chef is Indian and you can have curry sent up to your room. It's also close to the Back Horse pub and Osterley Park. Good value for London, clean, friendly . Collapse
