The Best Western Mornington Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of London, within walking distance of Lancaster Gate tube station and right opposite Hyde Park. Were also within easy reach of all of London’s best areas for shopping and entertainment, so you really can see London in style! This hotel really is about as regal as you can get, but unlike nearby Buck House, the BEST WESTERN Mornington Hotel is located in the heart of London’s bright lights (not that you'd know it, with the luxurious floor-length drapes that adorn every room).
As hotels go, it’s hard to find a more elegant place to stay. As well as the regal 19th Century pillars (a mark of decadence both then and now), you'll find a range of London’s highlights on your doorstep. The hotel is now even more appealing too, having just undergone a complete refurbishment! Architects have cleverly designed a new look for the hotel to enhance its traditional features while bringing its wonderful accommodation further into the 21st Century!
Large contemporary rooms make rooms at the Best Western Mornington Hotel a superb choice near Paddington Station, opposite Hyde Park in the heart of London. All of our double rooms are fully Air Conditioned and fitted with a Flat screen TV, Laptop Safe, Complimentary High Speed Wi-Fi and en suite bathrooms.
The West End is just around the corner, Paddington mainline station/Heathrow Express is a 5 minute walk away, and a number of tempting restaurants can be found in the time it takes to nibble on a Michelin-starred hors doeuvre. Wi-Fi access is provided free of charge too, which makes it even more satisfying to tell your friends back home all about the wonderful time you’re having!

My husband and i stayed at the Best Western Mornington for 3 days last week in one of the Executive Rooms for our wedding anniversary. We were well taken care of by all staff members. The room we were given was a suite. It was a nice size, clean, but had no view. For breakfast we were offered a full array of your traditional full English type foods. The staff were very attentive. The location of the hotel was perfect for a stroll through Hyde Park or to catch the tube at the Queensway station on the Central Line. We made it to Westminister station in less than 15 mins on the tube. It was nice to sit in the library and have a cocktail before heading out for the evening. The hotel was quiet. We hardly heard any noise from other guests. We would definitely consider returning to this hotel on another trip over to England! Collapse

To whom it may concern, Following our recent stay at the Best Western Mornington Hotel my partner and myself experienced a series of unfortunate events which led to a very poor customer experience whilst staying at this hotel. Our stay was booked in for 2 nights over the period of 17th March – 19th March for a Queen Bed. I currently am a membership card holder of the Best Western Reward Scheme and was once a diamond member due to the volume of stays within various Best Western Hotels. I have to say I am extremely disappointed following my previous visit. We arrived at the hotel around 14:30PM on 17th March. We were advised prior to arrival that check in would be anytime after 14:00PM, however when we arrived we were told our room would not be available for another 30 minutes. The receptionist (Anastasia) was very helpful, friendly and polite and offered my partner and myself a complimentary drink whilst we wait for our room. Whilst waiting in the bar a senior manager decided to conduct a disciplinary conversation in regards to the receptionists work attire and also the incorrect logs recorded on their time sheets. He continued with how this could be classed as fraud and also had another employee “model” the correct work attire. I felt that this was a highly inappropriate and unprofessional conversation to be had in front of customers, this made my partner & myself feel extremely uncomfortable and should of happened either at a more convenient time or location. After 45 minutes had passed in the bar, we then chased the receptionist and were advised the room will be another 15 minutes. After 25 minutes had passed I then chased the receptionist up for a third time in which he advised the room keys had just been passed to my partner. We were provided with complimentary breakfast for the following day due to the delay in the preparation of the room which we appreciated. Once gaining access to our room we were very limited for time so we decided to order room service as we had other arrangements for the evening. My partner rang reception from the phone and was advised that the kitchen had closed at 14:00PM which left a selection of 3/4 items to choose from off the menu. I find it completely absurd that on a Friday the hotel kitchen is closed and also for the fact that whilst we were waiting over 1 hour for our room nobody decided to mention this to us. Later that evening we then returned to our room for a well earned rest (or so we thought!). The upgraded room (No.11) provided was situated right next to the lift, this was incredibly loud and noisy throughout the whole evening and kept us awake all night. There was also a loud rush of water that we could hear coming from the walls which must of been every time an occupant above us either ran the tap/shower/bath, again this was an annoyance. After booking a Queen bed, waiting over an hour for the room and also being advised that we were receiving an upgrade it was brought to our attention that the bed provided was 2 singles pushed together with a double sheet over the top. We had actually been provided with a twin room disguised to look like a Queen bed which would explain the 1 hour wait for our room. As you can appreciate I feel this is completely unacceptable and had a real negative effect on our trip to London. On a positive note I would like to say I was extremely impressed with how friendly and polite the staff were. However this was completely overshadowed by the series of events that occurred over our stay. I look forward to hearing your response Regards Luke Barton Collapse

Enjoyed our stay & found bus transport close to the Hotel. Unfortunately Lancaster Gate Tube Station was closed during our visit. Just the small bathroom took points off. Servicing of the room was excellent.

Best Western are particularly hotels and always different from one another. This is a good and quiet area of London, close to metro station and in some places, has a reasonable price and offers very good breakfast. Handsome is the reception area and very helpful staff. The room they offered us was a loft, on two levels. Had a double bed on the upper level, a sofa was a double bed on the bottom, two televisions and all the necessary amenities, but without special luxuries. But space was limited, especially down while I expected something better from decorative side. I will however stay again, while the fairer rating would be 3 1/2 stars Collapse
