We stayed there for 3 nights only in a express trip last November. Our idea was getting something cheap and close to the city centre via AirBNB, however all the good places were either far away, extremely expensive or had inconvenient/abusive T&C. So in the end we decided to search for hotels as they offer a flexibility and freedom some apartments don't, and I couldn't be happier about my decision. A friend of mine recommended the other Best Western by the city centre, however it was a bit too pricey during the days I was travelling, so I booked the Blue Tower one instead. Very good value for money. Supercomfy beds, spacious room (although it didn't look as modern as the pics on the internet) and clean en-suite bathroom with the basic amenities (shampoo, shower gel, shower cap, body lotion, soap, hairdryer, towels), amazing views of the city at dawn (we were on the 7th floor)... I mean, all we wanted was a private place to sleep and have a shower at the end of a day exploring the city, and this hotel did the job. To London standards I wouldn't consider it a 4* though, but bearing in mind places like Easyhotel were offering the same rates (and even more expensive!) for their bunkers, I would say it's definitely a good deal. Breakfast wasn't included in the rate, however they offered it for an extra charge. We didn't try it as my partner is not a breakfast person so I just grabbed something on the go. There are many places nearby to have something to eat in the morning. My favourite was a coffee shop round the corner (Buongiorno coffee shop, unfortunately it was closing down that weekend, but it was really good and the location superconvenient). There is also a supermarket round the corner and a street market in the area selling fresh food and other goodies. Plenty of affordable shops in that square in case you forgot something for your trip. Regarding the public transport, I have not much to say about it as we walked to/from the city centre every single day. I'll be honest, it's a long walk. And by long I mean about 45min to an hour depending on your pace (or if you are a photography freak like me and you stop literally every 2 seconds to take a pic) but totally worth it if the weather is nice (we were very lucky). I guess it could also be a nice ride if you are brave enough to rent a bike. Very easy to reach from the airport too, 2 train stops and one short bus ride away. Collapse

We are 3 young boys, we didn't want a lot of service. The hotel was clean and confortable. Only our problem was that there was some work in the other rooms , so there was a little noise and bad smell but in our room all ok

Wi-fi worked perfectly and was quite fast. The attendants were all very nice and helpful. The hotel is a bit far from the city centre but has tram and bus stops only a block away turning this hotel into a very good option for budget purposes. There are still markets and some fast food restaurantes nearby. Breakfast was the best I had while travelling on this vacation, the price scares a bit, but believe me, it's worth it. They serve a good variety of fruits, breds, sausages, bacon, eggs, juices, cereals and a wide arrange of cheese products. Collapse
