There are a few things to say about this hotel, some good, some not so good. 1. The directions for using public transport were spot on and very cheap and easy to use. Directions to the hotel from the metro however and incorrect and it was very difficult to find the hotel. There is no address on the website (or on our tickets) but instructions stated 'The hotel is located directly besides the underground station in Vladislavova 20.' It is actually a 5 minute walk down two different side streets which if unfamiliar to the area is not clear. Everyone we asked had not heard of the hotel or were familiar with the instructions given. Beware of taxi drivers offering to take you for 400 CZK when the total cost of the bus and metro was only 40 CZK 2. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. We mostly had dealings with the night staff who were both always friendly and helpful. 3. The room - this was considerably disappointing. The website states there are tea making facilities, however there is no milk supplied so only ok if you drink black tea. Note there is no coffee provided, luckily we had taken our own. The shower is just a hand held shower which you can not hang up anywhere to shower properly and the plug does not stop the water escaping so you cannot bath either. The temperature of the room was way beyond warm, it was extremely hot with no way of controlling it. You cannot open a window and it became unbearable overnight. Both of us ended up ill by the time we came home. 4.The bed was very hard and lumpy and not at all comfortable. The bedding was quite stained which was a little off putting and the pillows were more like cut up duvets. 5. Breakfast - this was reasonable with a selection of cereals, yogurt, fruit, meat, cheese, breads and pastries. There was also a hot option each day of sausage or potatoe pancakes or rice. There is a coffee machine which dispenses various coffees or hot chocolate and a juice machine. ( the juice however is very watered down) The hotel overall was clean and tidy with good facilities and a good location, we just found the room itself a let down and would therefore not stay here again. We stayed here for three nights just after Christmas. It is an okay hotel. Problem is it is listed as a four star and we felt it was more like a three. Safe had low batteries in the room on arrival, it still had low batteries when we left meaning that when we left each day we had to leave things in the main hotel safe, no big deal but the reception staff didn't all have access to the safe when we wanted to retrieve items, meaning delays. Surely it would have just been easier to replace the batteries on the safe in the room? Asked for extra tea bags and milk for the room but they had no milk? Didn't expect to have to go to a local shop to buy milk as a four star hotel didn't have any? Breakfast was average and some of the danish pastries were curled and past their best. Being British we were quite comfortable at breakfast though, as you tend to have to queue for everything. The hotel wasn't that bad, just some little fiddly things which would have been pretty easy to resolve. If we go back we'll probably give somewhere else a try. Collapse

First of all the hotel and the rooms were looking better on the pictures. Expected it will be better. Of course the hotel is in a good location, but I'm in a doubt if it worth 4 stars. There should be a carpet on the floor, as the floor is not so warm in winter time and it's cold for your feet to walk without shoes. There was a slot in the door so the noise was coming from outside the room. Breakfast was good enough, but nothing special. I wood not stay there next time. There should be another better ones.
