This a superb hotel which consists of two tours, ( the west tower is the hotel, the east tower is appartments) with a huge shopping mall in between. Access to the mall is via the ground floor so if its raining you can make a visit without getting wet. Location - Next to a massive shopping mall which also houses many restaurants and a monorail station which allows easy access to every part of the city. EG The Petronas towers is a 30 min walk away but in the heat its stifling, the monorail gets you there in 10 mins and costs less than £1. Appearance- A bit tired in places but nothing that bothered me, the carpets in some of the public areas could do with a steam clean but generally the hotel is clean and tidy. Pools- Pool area is excellent with a large unheated pool and children,s area. There are plenty of sunbeds but as the sun rises in the east, the east tower shields the pool area until about 10 am and the first beds to see the sun are at the foot of the west tower and are obviously popular so if you plan a day sunbathing bag your bed early. the pool area does give you a lovely view of the Petronas towers and the KL tower and at night when they are all lit up, makes a spectacular photo opportunity. Staff/service - In brief nothing short of excellent and this applies across the board. We had an issue with our safe and it was fixed within 10 mins of being reported. Rooms - large and spacious, had a safe and TV and a huge comfortable bed. Bathrooms - Large with separate bath and shower cubicle, shaving mirror and sockets easily accessible and hairdryer, daily toiletries, robes and slippers all provided. Food and drinks - Being so close to so many restaurants in the mall, we only had breakfast at the hotel, but the food was great. The hotel provides a good choice of Eastern and western food, noodles and eggs are cooked to order and the rest of the buffet just about caters for everyone. This is a big hotel and the lines to some of the food can be long sometimes so my advise is always get to breakfast as early as you can. WIFI - Free throughout the hotel and the signal was nice and strong Spa and Gym - Available but I did not use. Extras - All rooms given a free english written local paper which was a nice touch. Would I stay here again certainly. The staff are great, the location is perfect with easy access to the rest of the city if required and the breakfasts are just awesome. Collapse

We stayed at Berjaya Times Square hotel for 3 nights for my partners 65th birthday they surprised him with a beautiful chocolate cake which was delicious. The hotel room was huge well cleaned with an amazing view of KL tower & Patronas towers. The bathroom was clean but could do with a bit of an update. We payed for breakfast as an extra as it wasn't included was very good we'll catering for us Brits. Never ate dinner but did have a quick drink in the bar which was expensive, but it's hard to find a bar in the area and if you do KL is not overly cheap. Had a great time in the shopping mall which is attached to the hotel there's even a rollercoaster inside Collapse

Thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights at the berjaya Times Square after a long flight from the uk we were welcomed with a drink and waited for our room to become available it was early in the morning but they still accommodated us this hotel is right in the middle of the action most a walk away the mono rail is located next to hotel the only downside is that the windows in our room 2212 were dirty so couldn't take a decent photo of the area Collapse

I stopped over at KL for a few days on my way to Langkawi for the main part of my honeymoon. As I was staying for a few days it didnt really matter but I was very disappointed in the room. It is very dated although this may be because I chose to have a smoking room. The staff were brilliant and very easy access to the shopping center along with nearby shops and markets. Collapse

We spent 3 nights here at the end of our Malaysian holiday. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly from the moment we checked in until we left. They offered expert advice on shortest routes to various places of interest as well as booking 'Grab' taxis, etc. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection of both hot and cold dishes, fruit, drinks etc and all were promptly replenished. Staff also circulated ensuring that all useddishes were removed timeously and coffee/tea cups were refilled. Rooms were rather dated but very clean and spacious and tea/coffee/ toiletries provided. We were impressed by the additional security feature provided by having to swipe our room key card in the lift to enable access to all bedroom floors and door from foyer to mall. The only negative was the hard bed which was very uncomfortable and prevented my husband from having a good night's sleep. We didn't stay long enough to use the leisure facilities on 15th floor but they looked clean and smart and swimming pool had children's area. Room key card also required for access which was pleasing. Collapse
