Great place, fantastic food (all inc) if you're there early enough. Can't get a poolside sunbed unless you get your towels are down for 6am (ridiculous). Fantastic beach a short walk (or boat ride) away. Fab for the kids with the snack bars etc... But those mosquito's are indiscriminate, everybody was affected. Lots of water-way's and foliage so only to be expected. We went well prepared with oils & sprays etc, but still got bitten over 40 times.. Home nearly a week and still suffering. Spoiled what would have been a fantastic short break away. Thanks BelleVue Alcudia, but never again... YOU'VE BEEN WARNED Collapse

I arrived on the 15th of June with two of my friends we stayed for 11 nights. We were really worried upon arrival because of all the bad reviews however we told ourselves we would make the most of it regardless. We arrived at reception at about 12.30 at night and got checked in straight away and given a map of the resort and it was very easy to follow. we stayed in Neptuno II which was basic but we didn't mind as we would only be there to sleep and shower. The rooms were very clean. With regards to the Entertainment team, they are faultless! They work extremely hard day and night to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves, especially Ellie and Marco they are just amazing! All of the entertainers put in so much effort and don't get enough appreciation, the shows that they put on at night are brilliant and they do a great job of Hairspray the musical. the choreography is well put together. After reading all the reviews we didn't go all inclusive. There are so many lovely restaurants only a 5 minute walk from the resort which are all very well priced. I would definitely recommend Syrahs, its just over the bridge it is fab. The only fault we had was the mosquito's, we were destroyed in bites and constantly itching but thats not the hotels fault!! Also it is very hard to get a sun bed in the morning, it is the first hotel I've ever stayed at where the sunned's are not collected at nighttime and put out again in the morning, I think that is a fairer approach and gives everyone the same chance of getting a bed. We witnessed a lot of fights between families arguing over sunned's which is totally unnecessary! Overall- this hotel is brilliant, from the staff, entertainment, pool and apartments we had an amazing holiday and would definitely be back. For your own sake don't believe all the bad reviews they are clearly from people who want to be in a 5 star hotel but are too scabby to pay for it! Collapse

After reading some dreadful reviews we were not looking forward to our holiday. However we decided to make up our own minds so still went. The room was probably ok in the 70's but is in need of a total refurb. It needs some up to date furniture and new furnishings as it was very dingy made worse because not all the lights worked. Also if they're going to put a tv in the room at least make it a flat screen digital one! The balcony overlooked the lake which was nice, but we couldn't sit out on it because of the mosquitoes. For this reason we couldn't have the door open so the room was very hot. We chose to go self catering so had no issues with eating as we ate out all the time. We used the pool late in the day and noticed the pool area had food and drinks left around the sunbeds. This was not the fault of the hotel but of the people who were too lazy to use the bins even when there was one beside them! If the lake had litter in it , who put it there! People would sit on the grassed areas and leave their litter behind. These are the first people to write a review stating the place was dirty! The looky looky men were not too much of a problem once you said no they went away. All in all we got what we paid for on a budget holiday but still enjoyed it. Collapse

Myself and my partner visited the resort on the 19th of June whilst the 26th. We stayed in the Bellevue Minerva 2 through booking with Thomson. We arrived at around 12 in the afternoon and was told our room wouldn't be ready while 3 in the afternoon wich was disappointing. This meant we had to hang around in the red hot sun with the less summery clothes we'd traveled in carrying our documents and spending money. However, we were able to store our cases in a secure room until we were able to go to the room. We also still had access to the all inclusive facilities whilst we waited. When we eventually checked into our room the room was perfect, no complaints about this apart from having no air con. You had the choice to purchase a fan from reception but there was never any available. The rooms were spacious, clean and fully equipped. You had to rent the TV remote, safety deposit box, fan and iron if you wanted to but only got refunded for the TV remote so it could be a bit pricey if you wanted all these things. The hotel complex is massive and there is plenty to do for the kids including the animation team, games, dancing, fair ground, go karts and many swimming pools. People are moaning about litter but there are bins so it's down to the lazy disrespectful people to use those. The complex as a whole offers everything and was very nice. There are two restaurants on the complex directly above one and other. If you had booked through Thomson or jet2 and wore a purple wrist band then you were able to eat in the upstairs restaurant which was a big advantage as the bottom restaurant was like a cattle market and full of young Spanish people. Looked just like a school dining hall when passing through. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and polite so don't listen to the people saying that there rude because there not. The only problem we had with this hotel was the animation team. We totally understand that this hotel is a family complex and caters a lot for young kids. However, around the pool in the day time you would be getting constantly nagged to join in with games and silly dances whilst wanting to just relax in the sun. We don't mind been asked but when you say no they are physically trying to get you up and it's really irritating . The entertainment on a night was also disappointing. We believe that through the day the kids get to have there fun but on a night we'd expect the entertainment to cater a little more for the adults but it doesn't. The entertainment area kicks up at about 8. The beginning is all for the kids with dancing and singing and games, and the team are still trying to get you out of your seat to join in. After the kids entertainment they hold a kind of presentation for the people who won the games around the pool presenting them with a certificate and what not. After that it's back to entertaining the kids. The food in the restaurants is poor. Not a lot of choice and pretty bland. Some of the food is also understood so you have to make sure you cut into it before you eat it. We ate out and went outside the hotel more often than not. Alcudia itself is amazing and I would definitely return . Personally I wouldn't return back to this hotel hoping to stay on the complex and I wouldn't go to this hotel all inclusive. However, I would definitely stay in this hotel again if it was just self catering as the rooms are ideal. Also, trying to get a sun lounger is impossible, my partner had to wake up at 7 am to go and put towels down to make sure we had one. Collapse

We booked this as a cheap get away so I wasn't expecting much. After reading loads of reviews I was prepared for the worst . A very quick flight and transfer .we arrived about 2.40 am at the reception and finally got check in at 5.30am by the time we got to our room it was 5.50am absolutely disgusted at the fact there was only 1guy on reception to deal with everything . The were overbooked and didn't have a room for us .so after a phone call they gave us a free upgrade . Can't fault the room it was nice and big could of been a little cleaner . After being woken by a cleaner at 9.30 that morning I was not impressed they must of known we had not long arrived so why did they need to clean. We had missed breakfast by the time we got ready . So we went out to see where everything was. We call into reception to see the rep to talk about check in and she straight faced told me that 2 coaches had arrived at the same time . I was 1 of the first off the coach and there was nobody in reception when we arrived . There was no excuse or reason to lie to me . They should know how many people are booked to arrive they've took our money they should staff accordingly. The food was really garbage the food hall was disgusting nowhere near enough staff we ate in there once . We love alcudia been a few times and will go back again .but most definitely not to this resist and would never recommend it to anyone Collapse
