I have stayed at beatriz hotel and it was the best holiday I've ever been on it was so good. The swimming pool was so good I am a very picky eater but I really like the food there and there entertainment in the night time was brilliant and I loved the mini disco at 8:30 pm I loved the hotel so much I hope I'll be going back next year in 2018 but the best part of the hotel was the animation team the animation team is so good and a special thank you to Lorena,Andres and Algeria .Lorena and I were the bestest of Friends we were with each other 24-7.Andres would always make me laugh and he was a great dancer. Alegria was great with kids at the mini club and she is very JOYFUL. Thank you all for the best holiday ever , love from Gracie Landy Collapse

I am writing this on my penultimate day at the resort. We arrived last Tuesday 2 adults and 2 children 7 and 9. First off do not book transfers...a short cab from outside the airport..10 minutes and 11 euros and your there. Check In was quick and easy as you don't arrive as a coach load. We had a superior room..the room was spacious and had all you need...walk in shower..twin beds...sofa bed is a back breaker! If you want the safe and mini fridge or wifi it is all extra..we did not bother..UK 4G is now free in the EU so your data plan should cover you. The resort is fabulous...great beach literally two minutes walk out of the back gate...a lovely cycle path where you can hire bikes and 4 seat pedal buggies....planes to view as the land whilst you sit on the beach and the noise is not bad at all. The hotel has mini golf which has 5 euro deposit and is refundable. The animation team do a good job with the kids but the adult entertainment is very hit and miss. This is more down to how much I think they are expected to do in the time they have. Now the bad stuff...the resort has a few bars and restaurants. The main restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast is fairly good but lunch and dinner is a different story. It is a wide spread area and has various stations...however the food is not kept flowing..things are too cold or stale. They also lack staple foods for kids..yes you get pizza, chips and pasta...but no chicken nuggets, burgers, toasties or hot dogs..first AI i have gone to where this was not the case. There is a pool bar called Daveo which serves breakfast and lunch...but a limited choice..again a poor show and is only open 1pm to 3pm for food. The pool bar serves drinks and has snacks..now by snacks I mean ham rolls and a doughnuts. There is a small ice cream fridge but is hardly ever re-filled so its empty most of the time. As soon as it is full its empty again...a small note keep it full rather than outting ina few cartons at a time!! There is a piano bar, however AI or not you have to pay so we avoided. The main bar is open from 7pm and has the evening entertainment...its usually has three people serving...expect long queues...I was here the first week as I am from Leicester we break up a week earlier. As of yesterday it has been noticeably busier. There are also 3 restaurants...a burger bar, an oriental and a pizza restaurant. The pizza restaurant opens Friday to Sunday evenings and needs to be pre booked. I went and took a peek..they had a few pasta dishes and pizzas and salad so we avoided and ate in the main one which served this anyway!! The burger bar...this opens 12-4 on Saturday and Sunday...they do burgers and hotdogs and a few sandwiches. You go and order what you want..the drinks here are free but u have to keep queuing up for them. We went 2 days they were open for the sake of the children..the service was shocking to say the least. 30 minutes for 4 burgers and fries...and the make McDonalds look like gourmet cuisine. You have one person serving, handing out orders, doing the drinks and topping up disposables..you get the idea!! This was my first time in Lanzarote..I am well travelled and understand things are not always perfect. This resort has so much potential..the area is so beautiful..a lovely shopping promenade only 15 minutes away..bikes to hire around 2 minutes walk. I would certainly come back to this area...but would I come back to Beatriz Playa and Spa....simply No Way! I had a great holiday just lack of so much which is the norm in an All Inclusive holiday is missing..you pay so much and what you get is not what is advertised! The staff are not very helpful or pleasant...one conversation of the barman to a lady saying...his comment "I don't like busy..too many people but my salary is the same". Not being funny if you have no people you have no salary!!!! I read a lot of reviews good and bad..don't be put off it is a nice place..lovely beach, nice pool, great surroundings and close to the airport. Its a nice place to chill etc but the management need to get more staff and ease the pressure on the existing people...empty food trays, lack of staff at the bar, no ice cream and poor snacks during the day...lack of cleanliness...bins overflowing!! We enjoyed the holiday but would not come back to Beatriz Playa & Spa....No!!! Collapse

Went all inclusive as we took our 15 year old their and he eats like a horse !! Probably got the best room view in the place ! 3028 book it lol However you need to pay to use the fridge and you need to pay to use the safe and have to pay to use the piano bar .... their is a theme ... yes you have to pay extra to use the Chinese .... The rooms were visited by a maid BUT I've stil to decide what she did ?!? Made the bed twice but NOT ONCE changed the sheets in the beds and they needed changing as the room was roasting , the air con is just a con !! Low / med/ high made no difference to temp just noisy and noisier . However food was ok ( avoid the suckling pig see pic ) Plentyful and safe to eat . Staff ok but reception staff quite rude when you query anything! We used it as a base and walked out daily and ended up most days at the cafe horizon on the front Cheap value drinks €1.50 large beer Or cheese and ham toastie €4.90 cocktails and they are fab !! Just returned from our family holiday , this our fourth stay at the Beatriz Playa and Spa. Once again we had a lovely time , we had two rooms next to each other on the airport side of hotel , we had a partial sea view and great location in the shade of the early evening to watch the planes coming into land as we sat on the terrace playing cards. We had no problems with staff at reception , restaurant and maid , all extremely helpful. Daughter had a problem with air conditioning which caused water to soak all clothes on shelf , we reported the problem and the clothes were taken away , washed and returned next morning tidily stacked in a basket. Reception staff were also extremely helpful when the oldest grandson had a ear infection which required medical/hospital treatment . The food was good , we all found plenty to eat on each ocassions , it does become a bit "samey" , but I suppose it is difficult trying to cater for everyone's tastes over two weeks. We found the Pool Bar excellent during the day and had breakfast there on Saturday and Sunday (pre booked at reception) , we also used the Burger Bar during the day over the weekend periods. The shows in the evening cater for the family , with a mini disco for children followed by an act , these can be a bit hit and miss , but again depends on taste , the whole family enjoyed the magic show , again ! All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay , I would though suggest that the Pool Bar breakfast be available all week and also the Burger Bar should be open daily , it would ease some of the pressure in the main dining area , which can be a bit frantic at times. Also the bar desperately need "large beer glasses" !!!! We purchased a safe which cost 3 euros a day , we also took the offer on pool towels which work out at 10 euros per person , which is fully refundable , and you can swap them for clean on two ocassions , brilliant I think. We had tea / coffee facilities in the room and received a lovely complimentary fruit and wine basket , greatly appreciated , thank you. To top off a great holiday we attended a drinks reception for repeat customers and we were lucky to win the raffle , drawn by our youngest grandson , a five night Bed and Breakfast stay at the Beatriz - superb !!!!!!!! We've just come back from Beatriz and it was a fantastic place to spend our family holiday , we have 2 children 7 and 4 and the children's entertainment was excellent .There was mini disco each night and our 2 children fell in love with tapi and all the dances they learnt .The children's animation team were brilliant. We was a bit apprehensive about the food from reviews and my partner is quite a fussy eater but I really don't know what people have complained about it was top notch every day , huge choice of all types of hot and cold foods freshly baked break, muffins and donuts each and every day , there was also alot of seafood prawns ,mussels and they even had sushi a few nights .Round the pool at dinner they would do steaks as you like it cooked and also everything else such as salads fruit and other hot foods . The drinks are decent and not all cheap rubbish wine on tap for you to get as you please and San Miguel lager .we was in one of the older rooms but couldn't find fault with it and it was cleaned everyday with fresh bedding and towels supplied ,we also benefited from a sea view which was pleasing, all in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone staff was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and can't wait to go back .
