Ok so I booked the holiday then read the reviews and to be honest I was dreading it after reading........ how WRONG was I! Yes it is close to the airport but it's actually quite nice to see planes that close and within a hour I didn't even notice them, also as it's so close transfer time was literally 5 mins! I would next time get a taxi from airport instead of waiting in coach, taxi will be around £4 euros max!!! We had a family room and yes it was basic but very clean, reference to the complaints about TV channels no there are no English channels but your in Spain??? If you want to watch tv then stay at home!! Food I really can't fault, it's no al a carte but I don't think I have ever been to an all inclusive that is? Fresh meat and fish are cooked live in front of you, plenty to choose from fresh salad, pasta etc! I would say more catered for English than any other nationality! Hotel is clean! Staff our friendly! My children 5&9 absolutely loved it, the entertainment team our fantastic and couldn't do enough! Plenty of things for children to do! Local supermarket literally a 2 min walk along the beach also a few bars and shops! We caught a taxi in to Puerto Carmen, loads of shops, bars all along the beach! Taxi was £6! I honestly can't fault this holiday for the money we paid £1200 for a family of 4! If you want a luxury holiday with al a carte meals every night, no children or fun then maybe this hotel is not for you!!!!! Collapse

What a brilliant hotel first class rooms and everywhere was spotless. We originally went B & B but upgraded to all inclusive for 18 euros a day . It was well worth it. We had a sea view which was great. It is close to the airport but does spoil ur sunbathing as not that noise. We will definitely be back - looking at prices for xmas. What made it better was the fact we got a good deal with Ryanair flights......£39 return wow... Collapse

I read with some trepidation a mixture of reviews prior to our holiday at this hotel, but having just returned from a week in the resort must say that there are some people who must take a lot of pleasing if they find fault with what is obviously a large hotel (400+ bedrooms ) but have masters the art of ensuring a pleasant and relaxing stay for all residents. Rooms were cleaned daily - towels and bed linen was clean and changed regularly. Moving around the hotel was an eye opener with inner courtyards in the two main blocks with Palm trees and flowing waterfalls- edged by either a large show bar with reasonable evening entertainments or a restaurant which always ensured a table with freshly laid linen and cutlery was ready to greet enitherbearly of late diners, the food quality and variety bring first class - (and WARM) contrary to several complaints posted here on previously. Two pools ( one heated ) and adequate provision of sun beds made for a stressless visit and the dubious racket of towels on sun beds for later usage was not evident. I suppose if there was any criticism of the overall service it was inadequate staffing of the all inclusive bar service resulting in at times considerable queues. The other quirk? Paying 3€ a day for usage of the fridge in the room, that's a first in my experience! Collapse

We had a lovely holiday at this hotel. It is extremely close to the airport but the rooms are double glazed so you don't hear the planes too much. The rooms are very spacious but do not include tea/coffee making facilities, apparently you get that luxury if you return a second time. The fridge and safe are at an extra cost of 21 euros per week each. The food was good, better on some days than others. We paid an extra 5 euros each to dine in the bamboo restaurant, shouldn't have bothered, it was still self service buffet and no different to the food in the main restaurant. The entertainment was OK, couple of nights really good - Music quiz and Magic show. The hotel seemed to be full of German people, not a lot of English and lots and lots of children. The pool area was very nice but noisy with kids. All the staff were very friendly. Its also worthwhile going on the island tour, but get it from the local excursion in the town as it is 20 euros cheaper. Would I go back - no but only because of the children, we prefer adults only hotels for peace and quite. Collapse

Stayed here for 11 nights from 29th Jan 2017 until 9th Feb 2017. All hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, from reception, bar staff, waiting staff and cleaners. Hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere. Our room was very comfortable. 2 single beds together but this help us have a great sleep. Air conditioning is room, fridge which you pay a small amount to rent for the week which is good and the same for rental of the safe in the room. There was no noisy bad behaviour from any guests staying at this time - It might be busier in the summer and you can never guarantee who will be staying but certainly none during our stay, it was all was quiet. We opted for the "All inclusive" holiday and I have to say that we were spoiled for choice. I had read reviews before we went saying the food wasn't great, well you would have to be so blooming picky/fussy not to find anything to eat. There was massive amounts of salad, several fish dishes (hot and cold) on at any one time, roast dishes, stews, sushi, pasta dishes, cheeses, always 2 types of soups, chips, you name it, everything at every meal time! On Sat and Sun nights you can book the Italian Restaurant which is excellent - booking is needed as it is small than the main dinning area, but free and all you can eat buffet. we also went to the Oriental restaurant which also had to be booked in advance and is only open Mon and Tues nights. You do have to pay 5 euro per person for this and although the food was lovely, it wasn't any better than the Italian so we couldn't work out why we had to pay a little extra??? The is a burger bar open Sat and Sun from 12 noon to 4pm - this is also fantastic. Great choice and very clean and friendly staff. Drinks were good for an all inclusive - lots of choice, red/white/rose and cava wines, massive amount of spirits, beer and cocktails available. Milkshakes, soft drinks and lots of different coffees from a machine and teas. At the Pool Bar you have snacks available all day which are made up from tasty crusty bread rolls which have meats or cheeses which are cling filmed to keep clean. Huge amounts of pastries and cakes available too. Two pools, a big unheated one and a heated pool. There is a small paddling pool for young kids. Lots of entertainment from archery, yoga, bowls, shooting and the night time entertainment was ace, especially the magic show! The spa is good too and lots of spa treatments to choice from is you fancy. The hotel is a 10 min transfer from the airport and I did wonder how noisy this would make it....it was totally fine. Flights were only landing and taking off between 8am and 7pm everyday and it is actually worth while taking a walk (5 min along the beach) to watch the planes taking off and coming in, this was really good fun! The beach is right on your door step and all the beaches are very clean and make for a nice stroll. We walked every day and a leisurely walk for an hour will take you into Peurto Del Carmen. I have no negatives at all about this hotel, songs birds do start singing from 3-4am at the stairs to your rooms are "open air" but honestly, I'd rather hear "bird song" at that time that brawling drunks!! We are going to book another holiday for the same time of year at this hotel for 2018 we thought it was so good. Collapse
