This is a great hotel with exceptional staff. I was warmly greeted at check-in and offered a city map and was given directions and restaurant area recommendations that were spot on. Staff in the bar and breakfast were also very nice and attentive. Location is great. A few minutes walk around the block and up one flight of stairs from the Flanders train station - easy to follow street signs toward ‘Casino’ adjoining the hotel (or just follow along the colorful LEGO looking building). From the hotel - you can easily walk back toward the station and a few minutes further to the city center. The hotel is modern and had nice amenities. My room was clean with good temperature control and was also quiet despite being just a few steps from the elevators. There was also a free bottle of water in the room that was much appreciated. And breakfast was wonderful- a lot of hot or cold options and plenty of seating. I highly recommend staying here for great service and hope to return. Collapse

My wife and I spent our first anniversary at your property on Wednesday night. We chose a junior sweet and were extremely excited about the stay. Having worked in 5 star hotels and the hospitality industry my entire life I know what to expect and how great an experience can be. However things quickly spiralled out of control once we had arrived at around 9pm. Checking in very unwelcome response, we had multiple bags that I was clearly struggling to move around and was not asked if I needed a hand or helped to our room with the bags the staff member who checked me in also forgot my passport in the photo copier Through our entire stay we were made to feel like a burden on the staff Room despite having called ahead and mentioned that my wife had a dust allergy the room was appallingly dirty. The room had visible dust and stains that appeared to be bodily fluids and the chairs and couches. The mattress was incredibly lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. A mattress I would expect in a hostel and not an apparent 5 star hotel The bathroom was also filthy and even had bugs in it Room Service We had ordered two plates of fries and the pasta with tomato sauce. It took three calls before I could get through to the room service department the attendant did not seem to understand what french fries were and it took again three tries before i got the message accross the pasta itself was terrible, soggy and flavourless (I have had better pasta from a can) The attendant also tried to deliver my food to the wrong floor before calling me to blame me for apparently telling them the 7th floor and not the 6th floor. The attendant then entered my room before I got to the door. Huge violation of privacy and trust. Check out Once we had checked out, happy to get out of what has been the worst hotel experience I have ever had we then had another issue we had packed our car only to find that our car's battery had unfortunately died I went up to the front desk (Tatiana) to ask if they could help. They at first said they were happy to and said they would send someone down with booster cables asap. After about an hour a staff member (Alexandre) showed up to collect another guests car. we asked for an update, he said he would be right back after giving the customers car back. An hour passed with not a single person arriving. I then decided to go back up to the front to see what on earth was happening, only to see the member of staff (alexandre) who had said he was coming back laughing at the front desk with other staff members. When I had asked what was going on he then informed me that they had no cable. I then asked when was he going to come tell me that as we had been waiting over two hours for them. He said that wasn't his problem, when I pressed him he said they could call someone at our cost to help us. I have never had such a rude encounter with hotel staff in my entire life. I even told him "you hostly don't care" and he just laughed and said fine its my fault Thankfully other guest arrived and helped us so we could get out of this god awful situation I have never felt so cheated of my money in my entire life then with this experience. We had paid a lot of money to stay with you and to say we are disappointed would be an understatement. I have never asked any establishment for a refund through out my entire career but I am asking for one here. The room was dirty, the staff were beyond rude and the food was a joke. Collapse

Have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Hotel. The hotel is clean, modern and a very good location to the Eurostar station and about a 10 min walk to the main part of Lille. All the staff at the hotel were great. The rooms are large and have everything you need in them. The WIFI is great. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that breakfast was a bit disappointing. The food was cold and was running out fairy quickly and we had to ask for a cup of tea 3 times before it was finally delivered. Overall we were very happy with the hotel. Collapse
