My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights from the 20th October. Nice and easy check in. Our room was a fair walk but we knew this as we had booked this room. Got to say though, the view from our balcony was gorgeous. The food was nice, although it did seem to be more orientated towards the German guests, but this wasn't a problem for us. We found the whole hotel to be lovely and quiet. This was obviously due to the time of year, but still made for a relaxing stay (no racing for sunbeds). The indoor pool made for a really nice swim after breakfast, and if the weather isn't to great. One negative....maybe give the 'entertainment' a miss!! There is plenty to do out and about. Loads of restaurants, catering for all tastes. All in all we both found this hotel and its staff to be nice and accommodating. We would definitely visit here again. Collapse

I stayed here with my dad in September 2017 for a week of golf and sunshine. There are some mixed reviews and I think that this might be due to few things. 1. The rooms we had were really quite small and a bit spartan for a four star hotel. Our rooms were located at the back of the hotel and involved taking two lifts and a walk along a long corridor to get there. We had paid for single occupancy of two double rooms but am pretty sure that some double rooms are better than ours were. 2. The food, while good quality, is a bit samey and more for continental Europeans tastes. 3. We had a few a few gin and tonics and noted that they tasted of nothing! I asked to see the bottle and it turned out it was a gin made in Mallorca that was only 25% alcohol! We were on all inclusive but we were able to ask for Gordon's Gin as this was included at no extra cost but felt they should ditch the weak stuff! I had a similar experience with the vodka too! 4. I arrived late at night and parked my hire car at the back of the hotel we there is a car park there. We were fortunate to meet a couple parking up who let us in the back gate and showed us to reception. This is a very long and painful walk when you have heavy bags so I would recommend you drop your things at reception rather than attempt this journey. However there are positive aspects to the hotel. There are spectacular terraces on the 6th floor where you can sunbathe or enjoy the view with a drink. There are three different pools (one indoor). It is well located for the main part of the resort and the beach. I noted some negative reviews on here for staff working here. I thought that all the staff were hard working, polite and professional. In particular some people commented in a negative way about Monica on reception. Given she works all day during the day I suppose she has to deal with some difficult conversations. However I found her to be very professional and helpful even after I locked myself out out my room for a second time! The resort was pretty busy so we had limited hotel options for an all inclusive hotel in Santa Ponsa so given more options I may have chosen another hotel but I wouldn't have a problem staying here again. Not worth the money, does not look like the photos. Everything old fashioned and needs a refurb. We had no air conditioning. Reported several times to reception then got a noisy fan in the room that was no use. Told reception again and they said it can't be fixed. All German guests staying here and food and entertainment was catered for them. Collapse

Just returned from a lovely Sept in the Bahia, thank you to Monica and Ella for helping in securing a lovely room, my usual ha, Theresa in the restaurant all ways pleased to welcome us to a table, the food this year has added extra selection and variety , endless selection of deserts ha even the odd night blue cheese and Rioja.Every day very friendly maid came in and tidied the room like the fairies. Some evenings sat at the bar but there is a selection of entertainment in the resort, thankfully Bahia in the quiet area. The hotel owned by Germans so full of Germans surprise surprise ha loved it. x Ella thanks Andrew Collapse

Very disappointing. Not worth the money or the 4 star rating. Would never go back. Arrived and there were full ash trays on the table in the entrance. Decor was bare, tired, looked cheap, chipped and cheerless. The room had a fridge but otherwise no amenities, not even a chair. The balcony which was advertised as being sea view was north facing so always in the shade and we had to look through concrete high rise to see the sea. The bath had a mucky overflow pipe dripping into it from overhead so even when you were in the shower, it dripped continuously on you. We wanted to read in the evenings but there was no where other than 2 plastic chairs next to the lift to sit on, as the bar area was dark and had music playing at full volume. Even these were taken when we went back the following evening, not by actual people, but by Germans, who had left their books and magazines on the chairs so that we couldnt sit down. The bed was rock solid. The staff couldnt be bothered and were not welcoming or friendly, except for the lady on reception who was concerned and helpful when we told her we would be leaving early. The town was concrete and packed and was relatively expensive to eat out, unless you wanted to do kebab or fast food burger. Positives were that the hotel was close to the sea. Would never go back again. Collapse
