Traveled here as part of a group. Quiet clean rooms. Breakfast had anything you might desire. Up to date and not too far from the old town and all the charm. We would stay here again. Had a good visit.

A modern, clean and well-kept hotel situated a bit further away from the alleys old town. You’ll walk to the old town and the Riva in about 15 minutes, all along one street so it’s easy to find. There is a shopping mall called Joker right behind the hotel, with a supermarket on the ground floor and a cinema (movies are shown in the original language with subtitles). Restaurants and a money exchange with good rates are very close, too. The largest mall, Mall of Split, is reachable by bus from the bus stop opposite the hotel. The staff were all very friendly, from the reception clerks to the maids and to the breakfast waiters. When checking in, I wanted a room with a bathtub and that was sorted in seconds. The room was large but felt a little sterile due to the pale colours and hospital-like lamps. Big windows and lots of natural light, though. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub large. Wifi was free, fast and reliable. Breakfast was also included in the room rate. I’m a little surprised that it gets so negative reviews – I found the breakfast room almost empty every morning so it was very peaceful and the buffet was quite adequate. Both hot and cold dishes were available, and they were happy to make omelettes on request. What I especially liked about the breakfast was the Caprese salad. Maybe there could have been more fresh fruit. The hotel organizes transport to the airport for 300 Ku, roughly the same price as a taxi. It’s not cheap, but there are few options since the airport bus leaves from the harbour and doesn’t pick up passengers on the way. The travel agency located next to reception organises tours around the country both for individuals as well as for groups. All in all, the Atrium was a pleasant experience, but it’s not luxurious, so five stars feels a little exaggerated. If you expect a good four star hotel, you will be quite happy here. Definitely my choice if I ever visit Split again. Collapse

This is a convenient hotel for visiting Split, but it lacks something and the service was inconsistent. The staff in the downstairs cafe were excellent, but the waiting staff in the restaurant could do with some remedial training. The service was slow in an almost empty dining room, and the meal took 45 minutes to arrive, and only then were we informed that one of our choices was unavailable. The waiter also spilled the soup but served it anyway. The housekeeping was also a little slapdash, with drink spills being ignored and rubbish bins not emptied. The music in reception was too loud and repetitive. The spa is very good though and worth a visit. As is common to most hotels in Croatia, the mattresses are firmer than what one would expect in the rest of Europe. Not a terrible hotel by any stretch, but I wouldn't choose to stay there again. I've stayed in a 5-star hotel only once in my life and I don' t require or can afford to stay in one but when you've been given a chance, you really expect a lot! This hotel didn't really meet my expectations, I've expected more glamour and exclusivity. It's not a bad hotel but it's not a 5-star either. What I liked was a spacious room, comfortable beds and very kind staff but the furniture was old and dusty, the sink was broken, the room and the hallway had a funny smell and when someone would close the door of their room, I swear they woke up the whole floor, a terrible soundproof isolation. I don't like that nobody mentioned there was a free parking outside of hotel but rather made us pay garage parking. I liked the buffet breakfast and spacious lobby, unfortunately didn't use other hotel amenities. If you could fix few of this stuff, this hotel has a potential to be a really good one! Collapse
