Ok so we stayed here a few years ago!!!! Our first visit to Dubai was in 2010.... and since then we have been staying in Dubai ( different hotels ) year after year..... we went to the water park, lost chambers and our sons did the dolphin encounter which was great.... I remember thinking how grand the hotel was and the lovely oud type smell they had everywhere it was mesmerising. So when we returned to stay 6 nights in 2013 & 6 2014 the boys knew the park inside out!!!! The lobby area upon arrival and in fact every time we passed through was very, very busy ... check in did take long each time but once checked in everything moves so quickly..... before you know it your in the water!!!! Upon arrival in the rooms I remember seeing a welcome message with my husbands name on the screen which was nice to see..... a personal touch During both of our stays here we had half board, kaleidoscope and saffron were our favourites we did however try many of the other restaurants during both stays.... food was perfect, staff were very polite and nothing was too much. The rooms we had were based in either tower during our stays.... we always the balcony rooms which were big enough with the huge comfy beds and bathroom with the sliding wooden doors.... rooms were kept fantastically clean and well stocked , turn down services were lovely as they left us fruits and chocolates to enjoy nightly and our beds ready after a long night out...!!!! Atlantis is a huge, really busy family friendly hotel there's so much going on everyone is so busy coming and going staff will however stop to assist if needed. We totally enjoyed every moment during both our stays we have lovely memories that we can look back on and hope to return someday!!!!! Ps. The room keys have your name and date printed on them and you get to keep them!!! Collapse

I think this will be our last visit to Atlantis, this hotel is not cheap so was disappointed 1)our room looked very tired 2)electric in our room tripping 3)I experienced extremely poor customer service from the staff at the burger restaraunt 4)saffron customer service has gone extremely poor and I wasn't pleased to see with my children present a couple of ladies being stopped just because they had taken a bit off food with them to their room I think that the hotel management have to retrain some off the staff I felt this time the place was a bit of a circus it's a shame as we always recommended to friends and family but will not now. We stayed here for two weeks from 28th July until 11th July including myself, my husband and three children ages 4, 12 and 14 years old. We stayed in an executive suite which included an adjoining room for the kids and an automatic upgrade to imperial package. I could not recommend this room enough, which was super impressive with lots of space. The suite allowed us some extra perks such as private chauffeur driven car to and from the airport (felt like superstars when the chauffeur greeted us off the plane with cold towels and bottles of water). This was a great comfort stepping into such dense humidity (temperature were late 40s every day which was a shock to the system). We arrived at the hotel to a quick and speedy check in and was impressed by the sheer size of the hotel which is beautifully designed (the sculpture in the lobby is super impressive!). The imperial package included a private beach and the beaches are beautiful by the way, white sand complete with four poster beds for sunbathing and quite shallow water perfect for little ones. Although the beaches were not very busy due to the immense heat, the sea felt like a hot bath! For this reason, we spent most of our time in the swimming pools (our favourite spot was the infinity pool called the Royal Pool as felt most cool there) and other days at the water park, our favourite ride was the water rapids/lazy river mainly because we could all participate, some of the double inflatable rings had seats which was perfect for our 4 year old and was great fun for all the family. The standard board basis was half board which meant breakfast and dinner in a choice of 5 different restaurants. The food at Atlantis is what sets this hotel apart from others we have stayed in, there was so much choice and of an excellent standard that we felt the five restaurants was enough for us, therefore we didn't feel the need to try the others which were supplemented. The imperial club upgrade included high tea of sandwiches and scones etc at lunch time which was delicious and canapés and drinks before dinner, this was all served at the imperial lounge between 5-7pm every night included wine, beer, spirits and cocktails! If we returned to this hotel, I would most definitely opt for the imperial package upgrade again. My only criticism of the hotel is the music around the pool which needs to be updated and were same songs all the time. Also, in the nighttime there was a teens club which I think was a great idea, our 12 and 14 year old really enjoyed it there and made use of most nights. However, there wasn't much in the evening with regards to family entertainment. There was a kids club (no adults allowed) which we didn't use only because we felt our 4 year old son was a little too young to leave on his own so can't really comment on. On the whole, would I return to Dubai? The answer would most definitely be yes, it's an amazing place, the shopping malls are also impressive but just bring plenty of money with you because it's an expensive place! Would I return to this hotel? Again, the answer would most definitely be yes! The service was exceptional, everybody at the hotel couldn't do enough for us! If you get the chance and have time, try the dolphin swim at Atlantis and the helicopter tour of Dubai which were both amazing experiences! Oh and the other thing I loved at Atlantis was the buggies taking us from one side of the hotel to the other which ran every couple of minutes, didn't need to walk very far in the immense heat with the kids! I think if we return, next time will be in the winter when temperature cooler to enjoy more of the beaches. Enjoy Atlantis, Dubai you will not be disappointed! Collapse
The one and only Atlantis

Needless to say that the Atlantis features everything you need, at its respective cost. Located at the edge of the Palm, the huge complex offers spacious rooms, excellent service and the connected Aquaventure park. Truly an amazing experiece!

Stayed here for one night on our marriage anniversary and all expectations were met. Check in was smooth and quick. We had booked half board which meant breakfast and dinner were included. Room size was reasonably big with top quality amenities and fast services for any additional things reqd. Water park and lost chambers entry came complimentary. We visited the water park on both days...( Second day after check out). We had dinner at saffron and we were spoilt for enormous choices and taste. It was just awesome. Never had a buffet dinner better than this place. For breakfast we went to kaleidoscope and it was even better than saffron's dinner. You name it and it was there...Quality, taste, options... Everything just excellent. If you are visiting Dubai, staying at Atlantis for atleast a day shd be the first thing.( If your pocket permits, all days).... Looking forward to staying again whenever I am in Dubai. Collapse
