The staff on the front desk are very arrogant, and not helpful one bit. Our first night was awful, as we were next to a room full of loud people, playing really loud banging music. Staff at front desk said, well they are on holiday! I appreciate they are, but not to have music that loud, and one point, pouring champagne over the balcony. The cleaners come and change towels and bedding, and that's all. They leave there equipment all over the stairs!!! You need to get up very early to get a sun lounger, as come 8am all the good ones are gone. We are self catering, which is poorly equipped for. After all that moaning, majorca is really a stunning country, and well worth coming to. As for the hotel, if you don't mind climbing lots of steps, single sex parties, loud music, then it's not really a bad hotel. Oh and wifi is 20€ per person for 7 days! Collapse

Amazing stay here! The hotel is really nice. Only downside to this is the amount of stairs you have to go up and down just to get to your apartment or out of the hotel. Entertainment for the kids around the pool and In the evening is good. Oscar is fab with the children. The barman Christian stood out the Most for me. He was amazing with the kids When you come out of the hotel you can go left which leads to magaluf Or right which leads to beach, bars and restaurants. Don't go to Il chiringo on the beach, not very welcoming and staff are rude! Thank you Cabau Aquasol for an amazing stay ❤️ Collapse

We stayed for 10 nights at the beginning of August on a half board basis. We had a 3 bedroom apartment which while basic was generally clean and tidy. We had an issue with the handle on the bathroom door and mould on the wall in one of the bedrooms, both reported, the door handle was mended the same day, the cleaners were meant to deal with the mould - it didn't get cleaned off during the time we were there. Cleaners cleaned the rooms 4 times during our stay - changing towels each time and changed the sheets once - we were happy with the standard of cleaning (apart from the non-removal of the mould). As we were half board we ate breakfast and evening meals most days of our stay. The last time we came, 5 years ago, we weren't overly impressed with the food. This was not the case this time. Since our last stay the restaurant area, Citrus, has been given a make over and the quality and choice of food has improved vastly. I'm confused by others that say the food was repetitive, the menu appeared to repeat weekly, but each day there was a choice of at least 6 main courses, they always had soup (different each day), fresh salad and a selection of desserts on offer. They even had child friendly pizza, burgers, chicken nuggets, fish fingers and chips for the less adventurous! We also ate at the pool bar, and again the food was excellent. The entertainment on offer at the hotel is also ok. Daily children's clubs and activities around the pool are on offer daily to anybody who wants to take part. The entertainment staff work hard, but are not pushy and are not hassling anybody to join in. On an evening there is a children's disco, can't comment on this as we weren't there to see it, and various shows from outside entertainers - these varied in quality. The staff in both the bars and restaurants work extremely hard and long hours. We found all members of staff to be friendly, polite and helpful. Again, I'm unsure as to the negative comments about any of the staff in this hotel - we found that if you treat them with respect and manners they do the same back. The only negative aspect is the hotel seemingly unsure as to whole its target audience is. Is this a hotel aimed at families or groups of young people out to have a good time? Our first 6 nights/days were perfect. No sound from any of our neighbours at all - fantastic nights sleep!! However, night 7 a group of young lads moved into the apartment above us and whilst made no noise during daylight hours, insisted on banging around and speaking loudly from about half 9 till 12ish, and then again when they arrived back around half 5 - 6ish. Despite complaining to the reception, ringing reception when they were making a noise, not a lot seemed to be done about this issue. Unfortunately due to this I can't see my family heading back to Aquasol any time soon. Whilst I appreciate that full rooms pay the bills - surely families spend more in the hotel than the groups of young people that pre-drink cheap alcohol from supermarkets in their rooms - Aquasol need to decide on which group of clientele they want to attract and stick to it. back again and we just LOVE it here - Apart from one year were we had a bad room we cant fault this hotel. Close to beach, shops and loads of bars and places to eat. I agree with some reviews its a mix of family's and groups - we are a couple ages 30 and 40 and we have had no problem with groups etc you go outside the hotel and turn right towards magaluf and left into palma nova - we done both, magaluf is about a 20 min walk from hotel and palma is about a 2 minute walk away with fab beach bars etc Bar can be a bit pricey but most hotels are, we go self catering as there is loads outside of hotel to eat and drink. Rooms plentiful for our needs, bright and spacious. Loads of steps at hotel - this didn't bother us but if you find walking hard or have a prams etc may be difficult. We are booking AGAIN for a 6th year but for longer for 2018 and cant wait!!!! Collapse
