So many things wrong with this place. First off the 2 only good bits is the staff Are friendly and the location isn’t bad either. 1. No service what so ever as they shut at around 8 ish so if you have a problem your stuck. We had people literally fixing appartments next door till gone 9.pm and couldn’t do anything bout that 2. No housekeepers as second day had to dry out our towels just so we could have a shower. Also check your bedding we had lovely long black hair in it when our room was apparently ready. 3. Beds are like lying on bricks. Hard as anything and get one pillow and a random square cushion so even if you use both ones too long for the other so extremely uncomfortable. 4. Extremely thin walls. Constantly can hear someone either upstairs simply moving their furniture and the bathroom is so so hot and you can’t adjust it. So yeah just think twice before going here. No service. No housekeepers, disgusting beds. Never returning. Collapse
Great location, great prices

Booked this for its location and cost as we couldn't afford to stay in DLP itself. First off, it's just a 5 min walk to the Val d'Europe train station, but be careful which entrance you exit from when you leave the station as it can be a little confusing. Head toward the shopping mall and you won't go wrong. It's a 3 min walk to that shopping mall (turn right out of the gates) and it has plenty to keep the shoppers occupied. If you go during a busy time, please be very careful of pickpockets as they are there and waiting for you (sister had purse taken in Primark). All tourist places have this issue of course, but just keep hold of that zip or put a cheap padlock on any bags you have. Primark was manic on the Saturday we went - if you can go on a weekday, it'll be a lot better for you. The supermarket, Auchern, is HUGE!!! All the food is downstairs and wow there is so much choice. Really easy to save money and not pay park prices by buying some cereal, baguettes, cheese, ham etc and make your own breakfast/lunches as we did. When you enter the supermarket, the security guards will want to staple closed any bags you have (shopping bags), this is normal so don't be alarmed. So, we had 2 x 1 bedroom apartments and they were on the same floor, just 20 seconds away from each other. The apartments each had a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. The sofa bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. Sheets and covers were white and very clean, duvet (comforter) was nice and toasty warm. Plenty of wardrobe space, in fact, probably too much really as I guess most people stay for a week maximum. There is a safe in the wardrobe but the digital bit of it didn't work for us. We told reception and they offered us the key for it .. I guess you should ask for the key when you check in. In the kitchenette, there are 2 electric hob rings, fridge, kettle, a coffee maker, cutlery and crockery plus a couple of saucepans. The only thing that would have made it better was having a toaster but maybe they set off fire alarms too much? It also has a little pot of washing up liquid, a sponge and a tea towel provided free. Towels are provided but they are bath towels and NOT bath sheets. If you're Winnie the pooh sized, bring your own if you like wrapping them round yourself! More towels are in the cupboard in the lounge area, but they are all a little small. Our shower was perfectly adequate and kept hot each time we used it. No hairdryer so bring your own if you need one. When reading about this hotel, I had noticed people using the free shuttle bus that stops outside the Hotel Elysee down the road. Morally, others should not use it, but as we lack morals, we did! Brilliant bus service that stops at 3 hotels then DLP itself, runs all day and sometimes as frequent as every 15 mins (can be up to 1 hour at quiet times though so check the timetable). The bus stop is number 50, so turn left out of the apartment gates, left at the end of the road and the bus stop is by the ATM machine. Just wait there until the bendy bus comes along and get on. Picks up at the same place it drops off and if you stand towards the left of that area, you can enter the bus by the rear doors (there are 3) which is less busy. Saved ourselves 10 Euros each in train fare by using the bus! One last thing ... the floors are tiled and the chair legs are metal so when you pull a chair out to sit down, please be mindful of people staying in the apartment underneath you as it makes a loud scraping noise. Fine during the day, but if it's late/early, it could be really annoying! So, great hotel, great welcome and would happily stay there again. Collapse

This is my third time staying here in around 2 years! Previously it’s been ok for the price we paid! It is a little basic and dingy but for the cheap price and fantastic location it was fair enough! This time however it was a tad more expensive and I really wish we had stayed elsewhere! Staff are friendly enough but no one is available after 7pm! The apartment was very run down and the kitchenette was quite pointless with no kettle or toaster! The fridge smelled awful and the heating system was very hit and miss! The worst part of this trip was the noise level! It was a joke! Walls are so thin! Furniture being moved around upstairs until gone 11pm then the maids who come up and down the corridors from 5pm, banging and shouting! Seem unable to lean a mop against the wall without banging it or dropping it!! One morning I opened my door at 5.50 to ask them to keep the noise down! Doesn’t exactly prepare you for a full day at Disney! Collapse

Had a mix up with payment when originally booked through booking.com. came home one night to find we had been thrown out the hotel my 6 year old daughter and 12 year old nephew left in the cold until someone could sort the mess out. Some French guy finally appeared he was only interested in shouting at us saying we were very bad and demanded a passport. Never experienced anything like it in my life didn't even put a wee not on the door to contact reception just booted rite out on the cold. Disgrace of a hotel. Collapse
