So happy with this hotel. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and perfect size for a family (we are 2A&2Ch and had a 1 bed apt). There was ample storage for clothes / bags. The kitchen area is tiny but cute, and the kids loved the 'serving hatch'. The bathroom is clean and functional (although the little radiator could have done with a lick of paint, it worked fine). The additional room we had booked for other family members was a studio apartment and was upgraded for free to a 1 bed apt. We were very happy with this hotel, it was cheap and cheerful, great location for Disneyland (20min walk approx or 7m or so on free shuttle bus), great location for train station / Val d'europe. We will definitely stay here again. Collapse

This is our third stay at Sejours et Affaires Rive Gauche but we haven't been for a couple of years, and although we enjoyed our previous visits we were impressed by improvements in service and cleanliness since our last visit. We were in room 310, which is a one bedroom apartment consisting of a small bedroom with two single beds pushed next to each other with a large built in wardrobe along one wall and a large window overlooking the Val d'Europe shopping centre car park and Auchan delivery area. While it isn't the most attractive view, we had no problems with noise as sometimes happens with apartments facing the school on the other side of the building. There were small wall mounted electric radiators which were surprisingly effective. I had to turn them down as I found the room too hot when on maximum setting though the weather outside was below freezing. The main living area had a brown sofa bed, a small wall mounted flat screen tv with French channels, a desk and chair, a small dining table with another three chairs, some shelves and a built in wardrobe. Storage is excellent and is easily sufficient for a family of four for a two week holiday. There was a small kitchenette separated by a door from the main living area, which contained a sink, two electric rings, a microwave, a small fridge, a drip filter coffee machine, and a kettle, plus some shelves and cooking equipment and crockery. There was also a small bottle of water, a sachet of instant coffee, a teabag, a herbal teabag, two biscuits and a portion of milk and sugar. Behind the tap was a small bag containing a tiny bottle of washing up liquid, a washing up sponge and a disposable tea towel. The kettle inexplicably had a UK plug but there was no European adapter. Some of the crockery and glassware was missing, especially glasses, but there was plenty to allow us to serve a quick meal. The bathroom contained a sink with a cupboard underneath, a bath with a shower over it and a toilet. There was a large bottle of shower gel/shampoo attached to the wall plus two plastic cups and a travel soap in a plastic soap holder above the sink. Towels were also provided (1 small and one large for each adult guest, none for the children) , plus a bath mat. The shower head was a large one and the water pressure was good but the bath was incredibly slippery inside and no rubber mat was supplied, nor was the surface of the bath non slip. The rooms and especially the bathroom were far cleaner than during our last visit. The only problem is with ventilation. Although the apartment smelled fine, as soon as we entered the corridor we were confronted with strong cooking smells of fish in butter. There was no ventilation in the kitchen so smells tend to hang around in the corridors. Laundry service is available for €3.50 a load for washing and €2.50 for drying which is very reasonable. Ironing services are also offered. Downstairs at reception there is a hot drinks machine which sells coffee and hot chocolate for 50 cents a cup and a vending machine selling snacks and microwave meals. To get to Disneyland you either walk less than 5 minutes and take the train for 2, or catch pep's bus 50 from outside the Elysee hotel. This bus is not free for Sejours et Affaires guests but the driver told us just to get on and we found it very convenient. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Collapse

I booked this hotel as our friends who bought a travel package were given this hotel, I read a few reviews and was apprehensive, I shouldn't have been. This hotel is well located although is about €60 taxi ride from the airport (we booked a private transfer on expedia) When we arrived we were greeted by a nice young lady and although we had paid she did ask for money, we provided our documents and she apologised and gave us our room key. When i went to the room i was encouraged by its good size it has a excellent little kitchen area and a good size bedroom with bed and the living space was more than enough. I could upload photos of a few marks and scuffs and different things but why.....it is a nice cheap hotel and for what i paid i was very happy with the room. You are a 5min walk from the train station, shopping mall and a few nice restaurants. A short 8min train ride take you straight to disneyland, BE AWARE........there is a scam on the train where a man waves you through a gate saying it is broken then the same at the other end then a "police officer" tells you that you have hopped the train and its a €200 fine, Pay for the ticket and you will be fine! I would and will stop at this hotel again i travelled with my wife and my 6month old baby Collapse

We stayed here for 2 nights after a last minute decision to get to the Disneyland area couple of days before our Disneyland hotel booking. Pleasant surprise, affordable family room-apartment, 1 bedroom, small kitchen, dining table, lounge area with sofa bed making it a 2 double beds room, good sized bathroom with shower over bath tub. Kitchen had everything one could need. There's a laundry room with 2 self serve washing and drying machines, needed exact change to use them, but the helpful staff in the front desk will change your bill/note with the right coins denomination needed. We didn't use the breakfast buffet, but was very affordable. The large scale shopping area that Val D'europe is, including the high end outlets are minutes away walking. Collapse

Does what it says on the tin. Read some of the reviews and expected the worst. I think people need to remember though that if they want the Hilton or Hyatt then they best stay there. This is a functional establishment serves a purpose. Stayed here for three nights over Christmas. Served us well. After reading reviews was expecting there to be problems. Never encountered any. Beds were comfy and provided a decent night's sleep. My toddler had a travel cot supplied which was great as it meant he wouldn't be fighting with his brother over the bed. Kitchen utensils all good and served our purposes. Only downside was no English speaking tv which would have been handy first thing in the morning and the DVD in TV didn't work (note to self by Up!). Only so much Mr tumble I can take. Staff at the reception were great. Very friendly and helpful. Would I stay here again? Yes, without a doubt. Collapse
