Our daughters handbag was left at poolside out of sight at night and was handed into reception by the security guard minus 90 euros. The system is ridiculous nobody should be allowed to open and search a bag they find, it should be put in a safe, logged and recorded by two members of staff. This hotel allows the security guard to search any lost property bags on his own in an area with no cameras and no way of knowing what is handed in. The bag was worth more than the money taking and why would a thief take just the euro notes and leave 5 euros plus some loose euros....... The hotel seriously needs to review this policy,? I have worked in hotels all over England & Scotland and this would never be allowed. It is wide open to abuse, the response from the hotel has been poor and as yet I have not managed to speak to the Manager before we leave, shame really.... Collapse

First and foremost, what you see on their website is what you get and more. We booked this holiday in Jan 2016 so all year we had been looking forward to it and we were not disappointed. The only negative thing I can say about this is, we were arrived at 2pm and did not get our apartment until 4.30 pm AFTER other holiday makers arrived after us who got their aprtments first, and we feel that this was because they go there year after year and were given preferential treatment, any way thTs the knot negative I have to say. CHECKIN Very easy well spoken English girls on reception, they just swiped your passport to book you in and gave you a map to show where your room is. SAFE 15€ a week with a 5€ deposit, INTERNET You get free wifi in the hotel, the code and password is on the map you are given at reception at checkin. TV No need to pay for this , this is free, and you you don't have to pay for remote either.you get BBC and STV along with a few other channels. APARTMENTS Well what can I say, what you see on the website is what you get, light bright and clean sitting room, with leatherette red sofa and arm chair, dining table and 4 chairs, sideboard with storage and coffee table, all relatively new, must have been refurbished recently. The kitchen area is huge, well stocked with crockery and pots, a family could comfortably live here for a fortnight, although we didn't use any of it. There is a full cooker with 4 rings and oven and grill, microwave and a large fridge freezer , plenty of cupboard space too, this has to be the best I have seen in self catering. bathroom, is huge with a full bath and overhead shower with great pressure, sink toilet and bidet, floor has grey slate tiles and it is really clean, Linen is changed once a week , but towels every 2 days. Bedroom, has 2 single beds together with dressing table nd wardrobe, not much hangers but you get by. On arrival in the apartment there was a welcoming bottle of wine, that we thought was a nice touch, But in the morning even better, there is 2 rolls left at your door every morning amazing I have never had that before, On hogmany you were given a bottle of champagne to help celebrate the new year, I must admit these apartment went that extra mile, and I would 100% recommend these apartments. Swimming pools , there is 2, we never used them, they could do with a clean, but I suppose in the summer months there is someone cleaning them. Out and about you right in the middle of everything, so you don't have far to go for shopping, eating, beach or walking. The number 3 bus top is right outside the aprtments, jump on it for a day trip to Port a del Carmel it is only 5.90€ for 2 adults it is easy to use, you get on at the aprtments and off at the terminus . If you get a taxi it is 25€ so better by bus and you see a lot more of the island. Please remember this is our opinion and it is as honest as we could be, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Collapse

There are 2 actual buildings here 'Mansion Nazarat' (hotel rooms with option for B&B etc) and Apartments Nazarat, this is a review of the apartments. Over the last few years they have been renovating, but really need to accelerate this, as many are still in a poor state. They are quite spacious for Town centre apartments and are well equipped with full cooker, 4 ring hob etc (most other apartment complexes often just have 2 rings and no cooker!!!) The position is ideal, right in the middle of the town, but without the noise levels you would normally expect. They do have more than one pool, of good size, and one is heated, which makes it useable in the winter months. Over the winter they have many long stay clients, who return year after year, and this is one of the areas that can be frustrating. They seem to think that because they are regulars that the normal rules do not apply. For instance, as is normal, reserving of beds around the pool is not allowed. However, this goes on day in day out, with towels put on beds and sometimes not occupied until late in the morning. Some will also take the cushion off the bed at the end of the day, take them back to their apartment until they once again want to sit around the pool. If you have young children and want to sit near the pool to watch them, this can cause a problem. You do get fresh rolls delivered every day, and cleaning every other. Come on Nazarat you can do better. Collapse

We have stayed at the Nazaret many times and over the years the apartments have deteriorated to a poor state. Don't get me wrong the staff, location everything about the place is great but it need a big investment to bring back to standard.

As first time visitors to Nazaret Apartments we really did not know what to expect. We have stayed in Costa Teguise many times but never here. It was Ok but, as has been stated, the resort is now very "tired" and really needs a lot of money spending on it. We had quite a few niggling things that needed attention, like the door would not lock, for example. Reported it but it still didn't work after trying a few keys. The maids master key worked just fine so we just used the patio doors as we were on the ground floor. The biggest problem was the shower. It was a great shower. Lovely big dustbin lid thing that chucked out gallons of hot water. Trouble was the tiny little drain could not cope so the bathroom just flooded. We found if we just used the small shower head it could more or less cope. A problem that really should not be a problem is the lack of car park space. I would have thought there was room to build more parking spaces. Just had to leave the hire car on the main road which is not great. But, having said all that, the location made up for everything. Just walk outside and you are in the middle of everything. Perfect. And, it must be said, it was quiet. No problems with noise at night. Collapse
