We stayed here in a self catering apartment within this smallish hotel. Number 309. Not at all overlooked and with ranch and mountain views. The hotel is extremely modern and clean with a lift. Our room was large enough for 2 but I think 3 may struggle unless a small child. The kitchen is opposite the bed behind pull out doors. Clever but tiny with little workspace. There is a fridge with freezer compartment microwave 2 ring hob toaster but sadly OVEN! Massive disappointment!! Such a struggle to cook anything without one or a grill. T towels, washing up liquid and cloths supplied. Bedding changes twice weekly and towels daily except thurs and Sunday. The room had a t v and phone but we did t use these at all. Beds were 2 single pushed together, bedside night lights, air con and table and sofa with pull out bed Small balcony with small coffee table and 2 ratten chairs. Bathroom included a bidet and shower was over bath which was fantastic!! Hot and powerful. What a joy! shampoo and soap on arrival to get us going. Water in fridge would have been useful having arrived at 3 am in the morning and the foyer vending machine was not working. Our kitchen sink tap was low pressure and not giving out hot water. On reporting this it was fixed the very next day. Excellent service. To the main landing areas there is a run of carpet. Ideal as this keeps footstep noise to a minimum ( well thought out). Pool area and pool clean, gardens and small play areas for children clean. Life guard on duty days we were At the pool. We didn't drink or eat from pool bar so can't comment, or have reason to use kids club or activities that we saw going on. We would give this 5 star for the money we paid but disappointed with wardrobe space/ drawers. Lack of both. And half the wardrobe is dark so you can't see what you have in there, and hangers and drawers limited( and we travel light). It also lacked shelving etc so most of our bits went on the sofa. We would struggle with 3 in a room. The hotel is situated in well kept and manicured gardens surrounded by other small hotels with lakes and grassy areas being a feature. Within the area there is an area for children to be entertained. A small funfair and to the side An outdoor area where free entertainment took place evenings. 10-12 pm for adults but lots of children were there still after there evening shows. Not a problem but disappointed that before this started there was modern music playing ( consisting of swear words) and inappropriate language used once by one of the entertainers aimed at the children! Totally Unacceptable. The main road from the apartment boasts shops eateries, rent a bike/ cars and at the end is the magnificent beach. The shops and eateries were a bit chavvy for us so we hired bikes and ventured to the old town and Marina. Market day in the old town is Tuesday and I think Thursday ( same old stuff) you see at most markets in Spain. We also hired a car ( £29 plus£8 insurance ) and ventured to caves of Drach in Porto Cristo. 1 hours drive but trips are available lGreat value for money. £15 each included a 3 piece orchestra that played 3 pieces in the cave ( fabulous it gave me goosebumps) and short boat trip in the cave really lovely and worth every penny. Whilst there we also visited Porto Christo and Pollensa ( beautiful). Ideal Location for all with lots and lots more to see and do Plenty of supermarkets nearby. Most are Spa but there is a Lidl about 20 min walk away. 4 by taxi and 7 € from the old town. Bikes were €7 to hire inc helmet from a place 5 min walk away ladies name Gabby. Sorry forgot rental Place. Collapse

We spent 10 days self catering at the hotel . We came home on friday and booked to go again already this morning. We stayed in a studio apartment and the 2 children had a great time at the kids club with Leike and Kevin. They played games and enjoyed the mini disco each night. On the friday there was T shirt painting and on the wednesday the kids went pony trekking. It was 10 euro per child and 5 euros for adults to accompany. This also included us all getting into a farm and feeding the animals. Two very enthusiastic people with alot of patience, time and energy. They definatly made our trip alot more enjoyable as the kids were so happy. Each night there was a quiz, bingo or a show on aswell. Parrott show (fantastic) and reptile shows were great. The hotel itself is kept well and when we were there the staff were working tirelessly in fixing up the playground (looks great!) And general maintenance of the hotel for the busier time of summer coming up. The studio room was spacious and enough for our young family for our stay. There is free wifi in the reception area and the red lion bar. The pool area is spotless. The lifeguard on was always very attentive and at the end of each evening its cleaned. It was very secure and private to the rear of the hotel. The food at the red lion bar offered us great value for money. 3 courses for 10 euro and the portions off the childrens menus are quite big also. (Tip. Try the bacon cheeseburger - top notch!) We tried Tivolis and Romas also. Really nice food in there too and between the spar at the hotel and the Colber supermarket there was plenty of choice for grabbing a few things for the room. We ventured to the old town for the market and it cost around 7 euro in a taxi. (Markets on tuesday and saturday) The market at old town is stunning. A highlight of out trip. We also went on a 2 hour trip on a boat and seen the island and its beauty. The kids enjoyed the glass bottom. A great family holiday had by all and already looking forward to next June! Another mention to Leike and Kevin. Absolute stars! Gerard, Karen, Aoife & Aodhan Belfast Collapse

It's such a shame I have to leave a bad review as I did have a lovely time here. Please do not stay in room 504 or 505!!! We arrived to our apartment around 2/3am due to a late flights. First impressions were good. Hotel night porter was extremely helpful and kind. The room was average (studio apartment) with a nice balcony and a random door between the bed and the sofa? I checked the door when we arrived and it was locked but needless to say u comfortable! Throughout the day we realised we could hear the next door neighbours every word! We weren't too fussed. The second night we got ready to go out for a few drinks (just me and my best friend) we played a bit of music and headed out for 10pm. When we got in around 5am we had a little chat reminiscing about some memories as you do after a few bevys! The next day around 9pm we were playing some music while showering and the next door neighbours started banging on our front door. They were extremely drunk and intimidating shouting in our faces telling us we can't play music and that they can hear our every conversation. I apologised and said I would turn the music down but they continued to shout and saying we had to turn it off. (We could meanwhile hear the music they were playing) they shouted we have kept them up every night and started getting personal. We explained we could hear them too and while it's unfortunate it isn't our fault there is literally a thin door between the rooms!!! Once they left they went back to their room leaving us feeling extremely uncomfortable. We turned the music right down and was so intimidated we didn't even speak. Next door went on to 'do what couples do if you catch my drift' followed by an extremely loud argument about their sex life. Staying in these rooms was a complete invasion of privacy. I did notify reception on the Friday morning as when we had come down on the Thursday night no one was there. She said to come back if we had any further problems with the neighbours however the short break had already been spoilt. We only came out for 4 nights so I could relax before starting a new job and I left feeling even worse. I would have given 1 star however I appreciate it isn't directly the hotels fault but precautions could have been taken as I am sure this isn't the first time someone has complained about this. The pool area is lovely and quiet this time of year so that's a plus!! Collapse

Got home from our first visit to Siesta I last night and i must say we thought it was amazing, we had pool facing room which was perfect for our family of 4, all the staff from when we arrived in reception to the housekeeping and entertainment were so friendly, kinda and helpful. Kevin that did the kids entertainment was brilliant. We had one little issue with the bed for the kids. normally there is a fold out bed but when we went to make the beds for the kids on the first night it was one single bed but we had 2 boys with us, when we went to reception in the morning to get it sorted it could not have been handled any better - with in minutes there was a lovely lady I think her name was Daniella came to our room to double check the bed was fold out and within another few mins 2 hotel staff came with a brand new fold out bed for us #amazingservice. We are already looking at planning a return trip for next year and already looking forward to returning to Apartamentos Siesta I. It is close to everything you could need from the beach, shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment. A huge thank you to all the staff and management, looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
