So there are many bad reviews on here about this place, some justified no doubt. But I just want people to realise before you go just exactly what sort of place this is. We as a family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids go on many holidays a year. As many as we can afford so seeing a holiday to Gran Canaria for £1100 for 4 of us for a week we are thinking bargain we will have some of that. But if you break down that £1100 The flights cost us £780 The transfers were £85 meaning it only cost us £235 to stay at the Capri bungalows. Now I can leave a review to go to that price tag. £200-250 to stay here for 4 people for a week is peanuts, it's really cheap and for this reason it's absolute good value for money. Yes there is a charge to hire items like a Kettle Toaster Fan Coffee maker Hair dryer But at the price they charge to stay here I'm not surprised they charge this. It would be better if they just charged you a bit more to stay and include all that in your room, that makes more sense. On to the room itself; It's dated and needs a lick of paint but it's comfortable, the beds are not great and with no air con it does get hot in the bedrooms at night. There are minimum kitchen utensils to use and the cups and glasses are tiny. I ended up buying a taller glass from the on site supermarket, was only 60 cents so not too bad but not the point. The on site supermarket is ok and is cheaper than the spar across the road but doesn't stock nowhere near as much. One of the best things going for Capri is it's location to holiday world and aqualand Holiday world is a 5 minute walk and aqualand is a 5 minute taxi away. But other then them two places there is not a great deal more around Wish there was a couple of parks for the kids but we didn't find any In short the Capri is value for money It is very basic but I always say you get what you pay for and a holiday is what you make of it. We would stay here again Collapse

Paid 30 euros a night through Onthe beach holidays, and very happy with what that got me. The 'bungalos' are actually a ground floor and first floor, bedroom and bathrom being upstairs. Apart from limited crockery and cutlery, nothing is provided. If you want a coffee machine, kettle, TV, toaster, safe and/or a fan they'll cost you 10-15 euros to rent for the week. That said, the bungalos served their purpose, they are run down/shabby but clean. Towels and linen clean...new towels every other day with a basic clean. Linen stayed on for the week though. Take dish towels, cloths etc with you. On site supermarket is there, or a Spar very close by to get the basics. On site restaurant was cheap anf food good. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Pool area lovely. Half hour walk to both Yumbo Centre and El Tablero shopping centre. Likewise half hour walk to beack. Taxis plentiful and around 4-5 euros to any of these places. Nice front patio and garden, back garden also off small enclosed patio/clothes drying area, but gravelled and a bit pointless. Collapse

Just returned from a 2nd stay here, last time we stayed was in October 2016 and we did say in previous review although enjoyed stay wouldn't return due to distance from everything but we decided at least we knew what to expect....first the negatives as before very little to do around the area and long way away from beach, could do with TLC, could be a bit more generous with self catering equipment with this visit due to the heat night and day we really noticed the lack of air conditioning there was very little reprieve from the heat, also picky subject this time we noticed other holiday makers were going extremely early and placing towels on the sunbeds to reserve them by time we went for breakfast at about 8.30am literally all sunbed were taken yet only a few people actually using them most had just saved their spot until they decided to go to pool much later personally I feel this should not be allowed in any resort especially by the people who didn't actually return to pool for a good few hours. Despite above which is all superficial really we found our stay yet again to be a good one we booked bed and breakfast this time and was surprised at the choice offered each morning full English or omellates with various filling, Toast and spreads, normal breackfast with I assume is cereals and there was fresh coffee and juice each morning the waiter even offered to fetch us breakfast to our room at 3am on our departure day as leaving at 4am we declined the generous offer, rest of the staff were cheery always a wave and smile, cracked tiles in bathroom don't ruin a holiday nor does only having one small saucepan and fry pan to cook with or 1 little knife to chop with no spatula to turn a omelette with or flip a burger it all just gave us a challenge to see what we could do lol, if your looking for 5* no you won't find it here but if you want somewhere to relax sleep shower etc isn't going to break the bank but give you a base for your holiday could do worse than here, Most we paid for taxi was 4.90 from beach, free bus there 9.30am 11.30am and 12.30pm then back again but unsure those times, also quite a nice walk to beach taking about 45 mins. Over all if your not to hung up on cosmetics of a place then give this place a try...almost forgot most powerful shower I've used it's brilliant. Collapse
