Firstly I have to say the apartments are very nice. But that is the only good thing I can say and that's the only thing that stops me giving this a one star review. Let's start by talking about the check in procedure. As you probably know you have to pick up the keycards from a different address in Barcelona. That is a major pain, which is further compounded by the alleged free taxi they're meant to provide you. Apparently this has to be booked in advance. Which is totally pointless if you don't know when you're going to arrive. I should also mention that the 3pm check in is rigidly applied. So you can get your keycards at 3pm, but then you still have to make your way to the hotel. So by the time you get there it's at least 3:30. Now let's talk about housekeeping. They don't do housekeeping if you're staying under 7 days (which in itself is unacceptable), so imagine my surprise when I'm woken up by a guy in my apartment wanting to clean the room. I was only staying a few days. He didn't knock. Just let himself in. Even though I had double locked the door. Maybe in hindsight I should have searched the room for a "do not disturb" sign (because it's not by the door as you'd expect - it was in the welcome pack, which I neglected to read). But to simply enter a room without knocking first is completely unforgivable. He must have known someone was in there as the door had been locked from the inside. So if you're a single female I would seriously recommend you using a different hotel. I'm a guy and it scared the life out of me. Also while I'm on the subject of housekeeping, they are the noisiest bunch you'll ever encounter. Forget trying to have a lie in at any point on your holiday as they start their commotion and hoovering early in the morning. All the faults with these apartments are so easily fixed and it pains me to write such a poor review of a really nice place, but the hotel is completely ruined by incompetent staff and a ridiculous system of checking in. The apartment was very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and accommodated a family of five without feeling cramped. Decor was modern and fresh. The location is approximately 20 mins walk from Placa Catalunya. This was a good base to reach La Ramblas and other landmarks but does not offer a great deal of options to dine out. There are, however, lots of supermarkets nearby and the apartment was well equipped for self catering. The taxi was approximately €40 from the airport. This apartment would have been suitable for a family, small group or a couple. It was quiet, clean and the reception staff very helpful. Collapse

Just back from a three night break in these great little apartments. Very clean and comfortable and as a family of four we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a balcony at the back of the building which, although not very scenic, was fascinating to see so many higgledy piggledy buildings and gardens. The hotel is a good base but a fair walk from most of the sights. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the top of La Rambla and about 45 mins to walk to Sagrada Familiar. We walked about 15 miles over 2 days but taxis are easy to hail and aren't too expensive. There are many places to eat nearby - lots are open all day but some close between 4pm-8.30pm. We used TripAdvisor to find the nearest good ones! The Receptionist was also able to book our taxi to the airport for our return flight, thank you! Collapse

We stayed at one of the apartments for 3 nights in October and were very happy with it. By getting a cheap flight we arrived after the standard concierge time. We had to pay extra to ensure someone was there, but we got a text as soon as we arrived at the airport and everything was sorted on arrival. Apartment very modern, comfortable, clean and spacious. We had a lovely front view, two electronic cards for entry/ exit- Eixample is lovely, very relaxed cosmopolitan atmosphere with the Barcelona' trademark plane tree lined boulevards. Easy access to metro plus to lots of excellent cafes and tapas bars and shops nearby. Recommended Collapse

If you like to have a full kitchen and apartment when staying in Barcelona to help offset the costs of a hotel (most hotels only have 2 guests, and are not family friendly) this is a good place to stay. It is close to the metro and grocery stores (Bring your own bags, they do not have free bags!). You need to leave the key in to turn on the electricity, and you have to have all the doors and windows closed (and the key in the electricity slot) before the air conditioning kicks in - but once we got used to it - it was a great place to stay. There are restaurants close by as well. We had 4 - 2 bedroom and 1-2 bath apartments (one on each floor). The bad part is check-in is not until 3:00 pm - but you can store your luggage there in a locked area if you arrive earlier. We did have a little problem with 1 of our rooms not being available, but they were able to resolve that for us. The deposit on hold was promptly released to my credit card 7 days after we checked out. Collapse
