We stayed in room 603, this room has an amazing balcony as it is on the corner of the hotel. The room is by the lift so it can be noisy when people are going to and fro to their rooms. No tea or coffee making facility. It has a fridge and a safe which is free of charge to use. Maid service is daily and clean towels daily. The buffet breakfast has a great choice it is clean and the waitresses are very polite. The night porter was great he rescued us from a lizard which had taken up residence. This hotel is within walking distance to the Sagrada Familia. I would recommend buying a T10 metro ticket as we found this a superb way to travel around. I printed out a metro map with a list of things to see before we arrived and found it great as it gave you the stops you needed to get off at. Collapse

This hotel is pretty good for a two star hotel and well situated if you do not mind walking a bit. 12 - 15 minutes will get you to the Sagrada Familia and 5 minutes to the metro. The hotel is clean and very functional and our room was OK although a bit dated. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The first day we ate breakfast out at a small café and for the next two breakfasts we ate in the hotel at €9 each which seemed like good value if you have a good appetite! Collapse

This hotel was a great base for exploring Barcelona. Its location is fairly good, Parc Guell is a 30-minute walk, Sagrada Familia is also a 30-minute walk, and the city centre was around an hour of waking, so don't stay here if you don't like walking. A taxi to the Gothic Quarter cost less than 10 euros, which is good considering the distance. The room itself was a good standard, basic as expected and fairly small. The bed was very firm but everything was very clean, and serviced daily. The bathroom was a decent size, although the bath was the smallest I've ever seen! Air conditioning was very good. The hotel is in a busy location so naturally the traffic outside is quite loud, which did affect my sleep. Staff were friendly and informative. I would recommend getting a taxi to and from the airport if you're staying in this hotel. We booked a transfer with From2 and it took around two hours to get to the hotel from the airport, which was just ridiculous as the airport is less than half an hour away. We ended up cancelling our return transfer as we were worried we wouldn't get to the airport in time. The taxi to the airport cost 30 euros. Overall I would recommend this hotel as it is far cheaper than staying somewhere more centrally located, and everything is in fairly reasonable walking distance. Barcelona is a beautiful city and we very much enjoyed exploring it. Collapse

Arrived at airport and we didn't realise how far it was from the hotel. It was a long walk dragging our bags from the nearest metro to the hotel, when we got there and went to our room it was dingy and disappointing. What the worst part was the bathroom, every time we walked in it smelt like urine, it was like they didn't clean the bidet properly, since we were there for 3 nights we tried daily to get rid of the smell but to no avail. On the first night there we couldn't even use the aircon because every time it was turned on it would make a horrible scratching and screeching noise, we told front desk and they fixed it but we couldn't use it past a certain number or the noise would come back. Such a contrast to the beautiful Barcelona outside. Wifi was ok and breakfast was so so. The pictures of rooms in hotel website do not reflect real life. Sightseeing wise it was only close to the Sagrada Familia, everything else like Gaudi's architecture and beaches where way to far away. I strongly recommend staying closer to the city centre shopping district or beaches.it is just one metro from airport to these area. Collapse
