Hotel staff are very pleasant, rooms are well kept and the location is ideal for getting around the city. They could use more signs directing the flow of traffic around the hotel, as the arrows are not easily visible once there is snow. Parking is very tight if you have a larger vehicle, and frustrating/dangerous when vehicles are going either which way around a one way loop. Collapse

This place is hidden between your usual budget brands, but is fresh, clean and conveniently located (Banff Trail c train station 2 minute walk away). It has underground parking, a pool, comfortable rooms with great shower. Has the essential amenities you need for business or leisure travellers. The breakfast is delicious, hot, plentiful with your canadian favourites and BAKED BEANS. Yum! The oatmeal was a tad pasty though. The lounge/restaurant had a private event on the Saturday night, but we were offered complimentary underground parking and 20% off room service for the inconvenience, nice touch. Front desk staff were very professional and friendly, but some of the front line staff did not excel in the customer service department; didn't really effect our stay though. Very happy all around. Will definitely stay again. Collapse

Stayed there as a quick getaway with my husband. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and very clean. The rooms are also very clean and have very comfortable beds and met all my expectations. The pool is small but does the trick and is nice and warm. My husband used the work out room which he also said he enjoyed. The free breakfast was very good and had enough variety. I would definitely stay there again. Collapse

We stayed here for five nights while my husband was receiving treatment at the Foothills hospital. We chose this property due to it's proximity to the Foothills (it's in Motel Village) and getting it for a great price through Priceline Express Deals. I stayed in a two queen bed room with my four year old son. Overall, this was a very nice property for the price. I would definitely stay again if the price was right. However, I have previously obtained Priceline deals for a similar price at another Motel Village hotel - Best Western Plus Village Park Inn - and, if given the choice between the two at a similar price, my preference would be the Best Western. Pros: -most of the amenities we were looking for: pool for my son, included breakfast, mini fridge, flat screen TV -staff were very friendly -new, modern, clean -bed was really comfy - the sheets felt really nice -room darkening shades worked very well - the room stayed very dark, even as the sun came out Cons: -breakfast area: Overall, the breakfast is very good with a nice variety and hot items - although no waffle maker :( - but there are not enough tables. I prefer the Best Western for this, as they have a huge seating area, and the breakfast is probably a bit better too (and they have a waffle maker). -no microwave in room (with a small child who often doesn't finish a restaurant meal but wants a snack before bed, a microwave is nice to have!) -pool, although very pretty, was fairly cold, but there are few hotel pools I don't feel that way about -like most of the Motel Village hotels, the parking lot is small - returning late one night we almost didn't get a space (although I was advised they had overflow parking behind the Travelodge, but that is a couple hotels down the street) -small issues with mini fridge: My mother-in-law also had a room here, and we both thought our mini fridges were broken, as they froze the food inside and I didn't see a temperature dial. After a few days, I decide to look closer, and I found the dial behind the fridge to turn the temperature up (not very easy to access, as I had to pull the mini fridge out to see it). Totally my fault for not looking harder or checking with the front desk, but as a recommendation to the hotel, at extra "nicety" would be to have housekeeping check fridge temperatures when cleaning out the room after a guest, or replace them with mini fridges with the dial inside the fridge. -modern style not quite to my personal taste: I noticed another reviewer mention the room had a "cold" feel to it - I would agree. These cons are minor, however, and overall this is a nice property and I would recommend it. Collapse

I loved my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I really like the look and atmosphere of the place. Also the restaurant/bar had good food and drinks and it's always a plus after a long day not too have to worry about where to go for supper lol. I also enjoyed a really great massage (there is deals during weekdays and it was just too good to pass lol) I highly recommend this hotel. Collapse
