We stayed here for 3 nights. It is by some metro stops which is how we got around Paris. But it's about a 15 minute walk from the Louvre which isn't bad at all. The free breakfast was good, one of the days they made crepes! There is a crepe place called mardi crepe nearby and a really good gelato place which everything in its individual containers (that's how you know it's good btw). Friendly staff, and helpful. I travel a lot to Paris and in my last 5 trips (in 4 months) I decided to stay always in Astotel. I stayed in 123 rue Sebastopol and 123 fabourg saint honore, this time do to the extremely expensive summer rate I had to chose this one ( the managers in the other hotels were to busy to help me and guarantee the corporate rate they previously offer me). The hotel is old and different from the pictures they show you on the web site. I asked for a room far from the elevator and they gave me one exactly in from of it. The room smells very bad,and to be honest in all the hotel there was this bad smell, the room toilet is old ,pockey, really not nice. The bed although is comfortable I was hitching all night long and I woke up with rashes. The air conditioning is impossible to use because it's so noisy and don't even work properly. The breakfast which they say the offer you is bad. Grey ham, fruit salad that stinks, really orribile! At 8 o clock they already finished the bread and the croissants . In the morning At the reception they didn't even bother to call me a taxi, saying that I have to go in the street to take one. I'm a women travel on my own with usually two big suitcase, I would have appreciated a little bit of help. Especially in this case were there where two young guys at the reception doing... what.....? I don't know, certainly not there to help you. During the night instead there was a nicer guy who helped me and book me a taxi for the next day. The free bar in the room after the first day was never refilled. To make the long story short Astotel has lost a good client because from now I don't think I will go back to one of their hotel. Stayed here in a spacious and comfortable triple room for 3 nights in June. The hotel is located in the Montmartre area, which is well-placed for restaurants and bars that stay open till late. It's also within about a 5-minute walk to a Metro station, which is also very convenient for sightseeing during the day. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. One in particular went out of their way to find us an Uber ride to the airport, negotiate the price with the driver for us, and carry our baggage to the taxi. Thanks a lot if you're reading this! :) Some drawbacks though. Being in the basement, the breakfast room was quite warm and humid, especially given our stay was in June. Breakfast lady wasn't very communicative or helpful, but I think she did her best given she was on her own each morning serving a room of hungry guests. Room cleaning times were quite odd and somewhat annoying also. After spending a day out and wanting to prepare to go out in the evening, we came back consecutive days in a row to a room that wasn't yet cleaned. Cleaners wouldn't attend to the room till about 4pm, which was a pretty late and inconvenient time. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Paris, but think there needs to be improvement as far as cleaning times and breakfast is concerned. Collapse

We were here in couple for 1 week of vacations. The hotel rooms are well spaced and equipped with all the necessary stuff to make your stay a better journey. The mini bar is free in each room filled with water, juices and soda, and they're filled each day. At the reception there's always coffee, juices and snacks, all free for the guests. The attention is really good and the breakfast place is a little tidy but is filled with many choices for a nice breakfast buffet. The location of the hotel is very near from Subway stations and Montmartre. Highly recommended and not an expensive hotel Collapse

It's a nice hotel with a nice staff located in a nice zone in Paris. It's not so expensive, so it has a great balance for some days in Paris. Breakfast is quite good for the price and they also give some desserts in the afternoon and evening. There is no restaurant for dinner in the hotel, but you don't need it, as the hotel is surrounded by many restaurants. The room is a little bit small and old, but it's clean.. and for this price we couldn't ask for more. Collapse
