The children's story we all know but with fabulous music! This fairytale opera is the perfect recipe for a Christmas treat: two courageous children, a gingerbread house and a lady who turns out to be not quite so nice as she first appears... Hansel and Gretel is packed with delightful music - from the atmospheric forest sounds to the wonderful lilting waltz when the children discover the gingerbread house - and is great for audiences of all ages to enjoy the special thrill and charm of opera in a live performance.
