Voted one of the top golfing hotels in the world, the Macdonald Rusacks Hotel overlooks the 1st tee and the 18th green of the famous Old Course in St Andrews. There are 70 luxurious bedrooms many of which have been occupied by some of the greatest names in golf. Award winning restaurateur Adrian Pieraccini has teamed up with Macdonald Hotels to create a new restaurant & bar concept within Macdonald Rusacks Hotel. The first gastro pub in St Andrews, The One Under, opened in December 2009 and the new restaurant, Rocca Bar & Grill opened in February 2010. Rocca has the absolute best location and panoramic views directly over the 18th hole of the world famous Old Course and beyond towards the West sands beach. The hotel is within walking distance of all the historic sights of St Andrews including the Castle, Cathedral and University. Other attractions include the Byre Theatre, Kellie Castle and Gardens, Leuchars Air Show and outstanding coastal walks.
Guests booked on DBB rate receive a £25 per person allocation towards the A La Carte Menu (There is no table D'hote option). This £25 allocation can be used within the hotel's new Gastropub "The One Under"
