We stayed at the Ivbergs Hotel next to this hotel. Couldn't resist going in to try out The Blacklist Cocktail Bar. Very chilled out, sexy space with cool music. The drinks are excellent. I would have given this review 5 stars if it wasnt for the fact that the prices are quite expensive. The barman Felix was very personal and attentive. Thanks! Collapse
Nice Hotel, good location

NIce Hotel, good location, close to restaurants, the only issue that I had was with the bed, not much confortable, since it is a quiet area I slept well. Breakfast is quite good, with a variety of food.

Me and my boyfriend are both 23 and was recommended this hotel for our stay in Berlin. I have to say it was the hotel that was the best aspect of out stay! The staff let us check in early and couldn't help enough - they booked us taxis and tables at recommended restaurants and even let me borrow an umbrella! Reception were fab! No there isn't any food at the hotel, however there is a mini fridge in the room and a supermarket across the road so we stocked up on snacks and bottles drinks. We planned to eat out so having food in the hotel wasn't a necessity to us. The hotel is about 5 min walk from the U-Bahn which is amazing and allows it to be easy travelling to different parts of Berlin. If you use the map app on your iPhone, you can put where you want to get to, for example, Berlin wall memorial, and select the transport option, it tells you what tubes to get onto in order to get there, its excellent! We both bought the Berlin Welcome pass ABC at the airport, that allows you access to any transport and savings on so many attractions for 41 euros each. The hotel room to us was a dream! we could open the curtains from the control next to the bed! We had a lovely shared terraced with table and chairs to sit at with a bottle of wine. The shower was incredible! Bed was comfy. We even left the door on the latch one night by accident! It didn't close properly behind us and was Jarred open, We were gone 5 hours and returned to find all our valuables still in the room! We were so lucky. CCTV is on all hallways in this hotel. Wifi was excellent! we streamed movies etc on out laptop with no buffering issues. We didn't hear any noise from rooms next for or above/below. The hotel is located near an ambulance station however you get used to the noise and it never woke us up. Decor was amazing! especially the reception and bathroom. Room was large and spacious, wardrobe and shelves for clothing. Hooks for coats. Sofa, Desk & chair Safe provided different light settings (bright, reading, dimmed etc) Our stay at Quentin Boutique was incredible and we really can't understand why it has any bad reviews! There was a lovely little fresh Pretzel place on the way to the U-Bahn so we got these for breakfast each morning, only 70 pence! Highly recommend the One Grand show! theatre performance, cirque du soleil and the Berlin Zoo! Oh and Charlottenburg Palace which is about a 15min walk from the hotel. Thank you Quentin Boutique for our best hotel experience to date, we will highly recommend you to anyone we know travelling to Berlin. Collapse

Below the window was a bus stop and a four lane road. EXTREMELY loud. We were given a small fan which did help. Breakfast is barely a deal at 10€. Staff was very friendly and helped us check in early. No surprises with the bill. Used Bookings.com Collapse
Well-presented hotel that unfortunately did not live up to my expectations

Wanted to pay a bit extra to get a good atmosphere and preferably an interior design to enjoy – had I not purposely been looking for this feeling I would have found this to be a decent enough hotel. Alas, now it became a disappointment. The advertised nice photos do not convey the dated feel you get from the interior design – the staircase was my only enjoyment from an esthetical perspective. Friendly staff but not the service level or standard I was looking for. The breakfast did not show any of the Germany bread culture nor was it more inviting than an economy airplane meal. Also, the location is a bit off from what I thought – feel I did not do my research properly when booking hotel this time – lessoned learned! Collapse
