out of 5Stayed in the rathbone hotel - which is decent enough and in a great location. Good local eating places and walkable to west end. The british museum is just 5 minutes walk away....We really needed more time here. Last two visits, we have got the hang of the buses. There is a bus direct from kings cross to oxford street (5 mins to hotel)....And a bus from hotel area down to riverside and embankment area.

out of 5Fab time in London, hotel within walking distance of station, oxford street and west end, also fab pub opposite, duke of york. Lots of eateries around the hotel, we used bella italia for pre theatre meal, which was okay.

out of 5Had a great weekend, rathbone hotel was good. Met up with family for a meal on friday evening. Shopping on saturday and then a lovely meal saturday evening. Very interesting museum before train home sunday. Would recommend buying an oyster card. Good value and saves a lot of time.
