out of 5Went to Slaley to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. What a great choice, hotel was splendid, good food, lovely room & very helpful staff. We used the Spa facilities which are to be recommended & hope to come back when it's warmer & enjoy all the outdoor acitivites/golf. A great location such a peaceful setting in lovely grounds.

out of 5Roman obsessed son inspired a trip to hadrian's wall. Hotel was lovely, if tricky to navigate! pool great, gym in need of some tlc.

out of 5Enjoyable time at hotel, just a relaxing lazy time. Breakfast was slightly below average because they kept running out of food (and we did go to breakfast well before 10 am, 9amish both mornings) plus very slow at bringig tea and toast and clearing tables. Seemed to be understaffed. Disappointed at not having any special golf rate for people staying at hotel or even a twilight rate.

out of 5Arrived after long flight from dubai. Hotel provided all that was necessary to soothe the jet lag and fatigue from the journey. Room comfortable and quiet. Staff helpful and polite. Surroundings delightful - following the marked paths in an after breakfast stroll a perfect quiet time before heading home. Used swimming pool in the afternoon of arrival - used gym in the morning - all good. Pleasant, quiet meal in the evening - staff very helpful.
