out of 5We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the marriott hotel, we went for a steak night in the hotel and it was good value for money. We enjoyed the bus trip into newcastle and looking around the metro centre. Our only complaint was the weather which was very heavy rain in the evening.

out of 5Travelled to Newcastle on the sunday of the may bank holiday just to give myself and the children a break in a nice hotel for one night. The hotel is in a good location for the metro centre in fact a couple of minutes walk. It is in an industrial park so there was also the cinema a supermarket and some other restaurants right on the doorstep. The rooms in the marriot were lovely and spacious with two double beds in each. The children made good use of the pool both in the evening and the morning before breakfast. We ate in the bar at night which was very good and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. A very relaxing break overall!.

out of 5We stayed a couple of nights during the easter break at newcastle marriott metro centre hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and obliging. The leisure facilities were great to relax at the end of a day out and about. A local bus service runs from outside the hotel into the centre of newcastle so if you want to leave the car it is great. We took our 6 year old boy to the lifecentre and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He still talks about it now. We visited the stephensons railway museum which was ok but the steam train only runs on certain days so be sure to check before you visit. We will definitley return.
