out of 5A very nice time was had by both of us, the hotel was fine, the food good, and the weather excellent. The only problem with the hotel was the parking, due to the one way entrance and exit system of the car park you had to drive all the way round the town to get back in. It would have been easier if the entry and exit had been reversed. We found the town had a good selection of shops. The castle was not open until 1st april, but the gardens were open, free as it was too early for the fountains and the flowers to be displayed.

out of 5A super welcome break at the White Swan in Alnwick. The room was comfortable and in a quiet part of the hotel. The hotel has benefitted from a 'face lift' since our last stay and was clean and inviting. Having decided to upgrade to full board we were not disappointed by the choice of food and the service in the famous dining room. There are numerous places to visit in the area or simply enjoy the amenities that Alnwick has to offer.

out of 5We had a great 2 nights at the Swan Hotel, Alnwick. A lively little town with a lot to do in the area. A little disappointed that olympic dining room was not open but had a good meal in the hotel's bistro. Hotel staff very efficient and friendly.
