The Crown is an old established hotel in a central location, very good bedroom with modern facilities. Lots of space in well appointed public rooms and restaurant. Ideally situated for visits to the international conference centre a few minutes walk away which was the main purpose of the visit.

We had an hilarious evening with Sybil, Basil, and Manuel and although the menu was quite simple all the food was of a very high standard and very well cooked and served efficiently.

Pleasently surprised to find Harrogate such a nice place to visit; lovely open parks and spaces - well preserved spa town in tune with the requirements of tourist; clean,good choice of restuarants,shops and little streets to explore and find that special place to remember. Our hotel 'the crown' topped it all up for a very relaxing time "and the breakfast" beats many 5* that we have been too. Take a break visit Yorkshire - York and Harrogate.

The recently refurbished room was lovely, very spacious & offered everything you could wish for. Unfortunately it was above the restaurant so was noisy until after 11pm, I did ask for a quiet room when booking. However we will return to this hotel on our next visit to Harrogate as the breakfast was excellent, so much choice, & the staff were very helpful. We will stay for longer next time. A good variety of shops and eating establishments and everyone is so friendley & obliging. Would recommend the Wetherspoons, Winter gardens and Bettys tea rooms.

Harrogate was a lovely town. There was plenty to do and see - lovely parks, shops, street entertainment and lots of choices of restaurants. Our hotel was central and we were able to access everything we wanted to do without using our car over the weekend. We visited the International centre for British brass band championships. Very impressed by building and facilities.
