out of 5Our recent visit to Harrogate was to visit family members who live nearby. The hotel (the Kimberley) was generally good but the hand basin did not drain away properly. My main displeasure came from the fact that during our stay the car park was being resurfaced and therefore no on-site parking was available. As I had my 90 year old mother with me who struggles with stairs it made access very difficult as the only way in or out of the hotel was via the stairs at the front. It would have been nice to know beforehand that this was happening so we could have considered if it was suitable for us.

Editor’s comments: We do request that all the hotels we work with inform us of any scheduled maintenance work they may be undertaking. Unfortunately on this occasion we were not made aware of this.
