out of 5This was my friend and i third Superbreak weekend to the york pavillion hotel. We always enjoy our stay it's a great central location and the hotel is ideal for a weekend break.

out of 5Hotel was very quaint, room pleasant and comfortable. Only problem was they were having trouble with the heating in some of the rooms on the second day of our stay. They asked if we wanted to move rooms, but as we were leaving the next day we decided not to. They were looking into this problem. Breakfast first day was really nice, breakfast second day not so good. The hotel was quite full the second day as it seemed as though there were at lot of business people around, so there was not as much choice left at breakfast by 8:30am. Reception staff very helpful regarding transport into York. The number 7 and 415 bus from across the street are very frequent so really easy to get there. The number 7 also goes right to York station and also in the designer outlet park. Some lovely pubs locally, but drinks not particularly cheap. Food at the Bay Horse was really lovely, not expensive and would recommend it. Unfortunately due to all the heavy rain, we couldn't walk along by the river. Would definitely stay here again.

out of 5It was our first visit to York. We had beautiful weather and the city was as good as we thought it would be. We visited all the major attractions and were not disappointed. We will probably visit again.
