out of 5Hotel location spot on with greatout-look of city. Attractions an easy stroll away. Tip eat out as meals not worth it!!! Staff helpful had a good 2 days.

out of 5Travelled by train from Newcastle. Hotel 5 mins walk from the train station. Good location. Hotel is in easy walking distance to the centre and the bar and restaurant also overlooks the river. Hotel good value for what we paid with Superbreak. We arrived quite early in the morning and although our room was not ready we were able to leave our bags at the hotel which saved us having to lug them around all day. Similarly on the day of leaving we left our bags and luggage at the hotel and collected them on route to the train station. Excellent! Worth noting when I booked the hotel did not realise that there was a gym, sauna etc so was disappointed I hadn't packed my bather! Lovely weekend and would go back.
