Convenient location for metro and car - nice room, nice area, good wifi. No restaurant (nearest 15-mins walk away), appalling canteen breakfast.

went to man utd training ground met Ronaldo and Rooney saw man u beat birmingham sat next to earl spencer whose son and heir in massive maun u fan. wife spent two days shopping in the trafford centre and also went to football hotel is five minute walk from old trafford two minutes from lowry centre and 5 mins by car to trasfford centre man u training ground approx 20mins by car. great time

My first immpressions of my Hotel The Express By Holiday Inn was very picturesque. The view of the Quays was very vivid from all parts of the Hotel, making you want to take a walk around the Quays. The tour at the Old Trafford stadium was fantastic and lets you see interesting parts of the ground. The Megastore at the ground is a Manchester United supporters "dream come true." The Lowry Outlet Mall had many fantastic stores with a wide range of choices.

The Producers

stayed at Salford Quays for ease of parking and only a taxi ride into city centre approx £6 went to theatre to see Peter Kay in The Producers at the Palace Theatre (excellent). hotel very nice with a self service contenental breakfast also has a 24 hour bar with reasonable prices staff very helpful. Old Trafford just up the road 10 mins walk away and 5 mins walk away a good choice of restaurants.
