Regimental Freedom Of The City Of Birmingham Parade

A customer who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

My old Regiment was given the Freedom of the City of Birmingham on Friday 11th May. I went to attend the parade and meet many old comrades. The Holiday Inn was excellant, staff, food, location. The room which was excellant, clean and of a good size, however was on the 1st floor and on the same side as the main road. The noise during the night was dreadful. The hotel could do with a double glazing upgrade.

The Brum Experience

A customer who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

Birmingham a town of change - Lots to do and see The Bullring and The Mailbox plenty of shops to spend your money in and purchase that special gift. The Canalside area again lots of eating and drinking places as well as the ability to sit and watch the world go by. The hotel a little smokey in the public areas but looking forward to July 1st and the new smokefree legislation

A Day of Culture and Sunshine in Birmingham

A customer who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

Birmingham is a great city for museums and art galleries and we often meet our daughter, who is at university there, for a day of culture. On this occasion we visited the Ikon Gallery of contemporary art which had some very interesting exhibits and kept us entertained for a couple of hours. The weather was so good that we then ventured out to Cannon Hill Park for a walk in the sunshine before a very pleasant evening at a Thai restaurant and seeing a play at the Door, a small theatre attached to the repertory Theatre.
