out of 5Attended a literary conference at the hotel, so decided to stay for two nights. So amazing that we booked a third night. Will definitely choose this hotel again. Clean with healthy choice food. The Thai restaurant in the hotel although very expensive was a worthwhile treat. The staff exceptional in both restaurant and hotel itself.

out of 5We arrived at the Kempinski hotel at 8 a.m. expecting not to be able to check in, but the room was ready and we were able to dump the bags and go! First stop - open top bus tour, great value, on and off when we wanted. Off at St Pauls and two hours later found myself at the top of the dome - only do this if you are not of a nervous disposition or have problems with your legs. toured around a bit, back to the hotel and then out to dinner. Food very nice but if you like your veg be prepared to pay seperately for each one. Lion King excellent, plenty of pubs around for a pre show drinky. Day two up early and a fantastic breakfast buffet at the hotel, needed to set us up for the day.could have used the bus tour tickets today as well, but decided to travel to the o2 arena by tube as we had oyster cards. two hours spent at the tutenkamun exhibition, a little disappointed we ended up at the sports cafe, an excellent place to eat and drink whilst watching your beloved football team.Food good, prices reasonable. During the match went walkabouts leaving other half to watch his team. regents Street is walkable from the cafe, great shopping. All in all a great time, good value and standards all round The Lion King - Wow. I love this story anyway, but hubby was a bit sceptical. Music superb especially from the character Graffiki. Costumes amazing and very clever and if you like the African sound you'll love this show. A must see for anyone.

Also visited theatres, the Barbacan and had afternoon tea at Claridges! Saw 3 shows but not through Superbreak. Bought tickets independently to see Sound of Music, Dirty Dancing and Hairspray...would highly recommend all but especially Hairspray, it was awesome!

out of 5A great weekend break for New Year in a wonderful hotel - the Courthouse Kempinski was superb. Only downside in hotel was lack of tea/coffeee making facilities in room. Will definitely do it again.
