Great Place to Stay in Southampton

We stayed at the Novotel for a short weekend break. As with all their hotels, this one was clean, tidy and the facilities were very good. Very small pool and gym area, which were fine for a short excercise/dip, and the restaurant was wonderful. Would thoroughly recommend as a place to stay for university parents as it is easy to get to and close to the campuses (good bus service as well). Also, excellent if you are going out on a cruise ship as it is very close to departure gates.
