out of 5We spent 4 days in bournemouth staying at the norfolk royale. We booked the hotel through Superbreak as we thought it was good value for money. The hotel was excellent, lovely bedrooms, nice pool etc. We ate in the restaurant each evening, having spent the day out and about we just wanted to relax and not to have another challenge to find somewhere to eat. The menu was good particularly the starters although my husband who likes deserts was not too impressed. The quality of the food was excellent, the cost reasonable but the portions were rather small. Some of the staff appeared to struggle with understanding english and i thought it would have been good if someone had given us a brief overview of what the hotel could offer us during our stay. There was no information booklet in the room and we only found out breakfast times when we came down on the first morning. The tvs are out dated and again we only discoved how to access sky channles on our last day. Sadly no card that said what need to done to get anything other than terrestial tv. Just minor things that could be easily rectified.
