out of 5Much to our surprise we found the hotel very pleasant. Our room, no 1, was large and airy and had a king size four poster! a first for my wife and i. The room was clean and the breakfast chioce could not be faulted... The pool, jaccuzzi and sauna was a bonus!!. Walking around Totnes we found this a great place to visit with a lot to see and do, from shopping visiting the castle or relaxing by the river, oh the weather was good as well, that helps.

out of 5Great hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, a nice double aspect room overlooking the town. Buckfast abbey is very interesting, a good video history near the entrance made the visit worth while and the restaurant run by the abbey was excellent. Worth a visit just for the good homely food. Don't miss a walk on dartmoor. Found the coastal resorts a little to busy for our taste, probably better a little out of season. The cromwell arms, good food, good beer and wines and very friendly.

out of 5I had read a couple of bad reviews about the hotel and was wondering what it would be like, I needn't have worried. The welcome was warm and we were pleasently surprised by the room, small but neat, tidy and most of all clean. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were great, swimming pool, sauna gym etc.

out of 5Enjoyed the hotel. Pool excellent. Downside - no hot water in the room on the first morning. The one member of staff on duty didn't seem to be able to put it right. Otherwise cannot fault the hotel.

out of 5Things to do down there so just needed a bed for the night and your offer was the best. Chef had had anaccident otherwise would have eaten at hotel. Did use pool brill
