out of 5We stayed here as an alternative to the local budget chain hotel nearby which we stayed at earlier in the year. The surroundings were better if a little scruffy in places and requiring a little tlc. Food was good value and the staff hard working. Go to another similar hotel in preference, yes. Superbreak worked.

out of 5Bar meals very good, though not sufficient tables when busy. Once through reception the decor and general appearance of corridors, stairs and rooms is very dull and tired looking. Rooms especially require sprucing up and little extras added, eg. no hooks in room or bathroom!.

out of 5When we arrived we were allocated the smallest room in the hotel I think, as soon as we arrived in the room I could see the bed dipped in the middle, which transpired to be because the bed was broken! I advised the receptionist who moved us to another room, slightly bigger - but wasn't happy that had been allocated the original room, it was very obvious the bed was broken!

out of 5We were very surprised at the location of the hotel plus the quality standard displayed. Most satisfactory. Would certainly pay another visit another time. Bit disappointed that Bideford do not have too many good restaurants to dine out in the evening.

out of 5hotel was fine although one of our rooms was rather small with limited storage for clothes. Pool was OK but cool as heating had broken down, public areas were busy and smart and the breakfast was OK though small portions wewent out each day and went to the beach twice - Bude in the mist which was chilly but Westward Ho was graet, sunny , lots of space. Arlington court NT had a lot to offer with gardens, horses, the house and a (very busy) tea room. Rosemoor gardens was very good, lovely plants, veg garden and tea room
