A Wet Few Days in Cornwall

visited during a very wet week. eden project and lost gardens of heligan are very good for keen gardeners. Victoria Hotel was average. room needs updated and was a bit cramped. gym was out of action all week and lift to beach is not pleasant. overall, disappointing for the price.

Victoria Hotel, Newquay

The Victoria Hotel was excellent, with one drawback. Our room was at the front of the hotel directly opposite 2 loud bars that between them have live music from Thursday night to Sunday night. Great for the nights you want to go out, not so great if you're not feeling too good, or if you want an early night before you go home. However, I should emphasise that the food was great and all the staff that we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful.
