out of 5This was the main downside. Under 16s not allowed in the pool in the evenings or lunchtime. Also not allowed in the jacuzzi, sauna or steam room. Strictly enforced. Aqua aerobics class on the last morning filled the pool so we had nothing to do in the hotel with our under 16.

out of 5Great for Chester, easy to go to park&ride & into Chester. Pool & gym excellent. Food ok. Room on side of hotel very noisy from road & yard below. Good value package, nice rooms. Pub across road excellent, resonable & very friendly. Chester itself very interesting.

out of 5Ideally situated for Chester, we enjoyed a comfortable night in a well equipped room. However, it wasn't easy to find the bedrooms on the first attempt perhaps more signs are needed. We ate in the restaurant on the first evening and we have to say we were disappointed. Food was cool and we were not served the food described on the menu. However, staff attempted to put matters right.

out of 5A very convenient location to stay over Christmas whilst visiting my son and family who live 3/4 mile away. Very comfortable bedroom and spacious public rooms; great breakfasts even though smoked haddock has been withdrawn as an option since the last visit!.
